So glad we stopped in. Everyone working here was incredibly nice! The pharmacist helped us out with cough medicine that didn't interact with any other prescriptions and it worked great too! We had to register to buy Alleve and Sudafed, but again everyone was really helpful. Their English was excellent too, which was great because, admittedly, my French is horrible. The prices were better than we had seen in Montreal earlier in the trip.

I know That Shoppers…read moreseem to have taken over and are generally much bigger and have a huge selection of all types of goods beyond what typical pharmacies carry but Jean Coutu is usually so well organized. I don't waste any time picking up prescriptions, or shopping for items. The staff is so quick and helpful. No wasted time. Also JEAN Coutu has a better line of products (it's own version) that's always cheaper and very good quality. I've never been disappointed. This location is conveniently situated with nearby parking that allows a quick visit even during the cold winter months. This location also has a great selection of makeup. Lots of options for anyone looking to quickly find some last minute makeup. The hours are significantly more limited than Shoppers which is a major downside. They should think of increasing the hours to match the service of other competitors in the area. After all, in this day and age, it's now expected to have pharmacies open more than past 6 PM. Just makes sense.
