Complete with weight training and cardio,in and out, no fuss. This is it! For 3 months unlimited workouts for $149 talk about a score of a deal! They have varying hours that this is offered and it's a workout that is never the same. On average there are 60-75 people in a class. Sometimes more and sometimes less. The instructors are all great. They have one main instructor that leads the work out of the day with other instructors there to help with form, or to offer suggestions or ways to alter the workout to fit your fitness level. This is an AMAZING class. If you are a southsider and are looking for a workout that means business but you can still have fun....this is it. This was obviously not a new school, but you wouldn't know it from the looks of the interior. Every paint job was top-notch, and it seems as though I could have eaten off the gym floor (although I highly advise against it). So, kudos to the maintenance/custodial staff at Decatur Central. Signage is decent getting into the place. I know that they're academics are not strong here, and they usually place near the bottom of the metropolitan area. Their music programs have been strong in the past and seemed to be on the build again. Sporting teams are hot and cold. The building is large and spread out lots of really nice things and lots of things that just haven't been kept up.

The stadium is used for football and for track. They also offer softball, baseball, soccer and powderpuff. The fields are kept nice, and there is benches to sit on at the softball and baseball field. The best part is they have an Area 31 Center where even students can come in from other districts to be certified in culinary, aesthetician, criminal law, pharmacy tech... There is so much offered at the school, and the grounds are kept up. This is a great place to come and walk, as there is even a little area that has some really large trees and shade around the baseball field. There is also a very large area that completely encompasses the entire campus. This is great for long walks. (without dogs attacking you)

This school hosted the 2A Division Sectionals for 2025-2026. The school itself isn't very large, but the gym is a decent size. The line at the concession stand was long during halftime. They had one line for card and one for cash, but the area was tight and crowded. Bathrooms were also crowded. Prices at the concession stand are higher compared to other schools, I paid $4 for a hot dog that wasn't even warm. Seating is adequate, and one of the scoreboards shows player numbers, points, and fouls, which is nice for keeping track of stats.

We had to go back in the car and drive around, and then we saw the gym entrance. The parking lot is small, we had to park across the street. The snow made it difficult, they didn't pave the parking lot well. Entrance fee was accepted by card or cash, I didn't get the amount because my husband paid. The concession stand is right outside the entrance after the entry table. They do take card for concessions, but they charge an extra fee for each item if paying with card. The hot dogs are beef, the popcorn didn't have much flavor, and they offer variety of chips. Prices are fair for the items, but that extra charge is inconvenient. The gym is large, and there's plenty of space for spectators. They had a dj at the game which makes it lively. This game was so close and really good, went to overtime but unfortunately gw fell short.

We cannot order food or it's taken away when the food there is disgusting. Barely have any teachers , selective teachers that did care about the students left bcs the school was too much . Roaches ,hair n food. Guns & easy access to the school . Dean swain doesn't care about the kids she just want to address unnecessary things like hats and hoodies speaking of that i was jumped there over some bs and was lied upon but even after that they wouldn't let me leave they gave me false hope saying I could transfer to tech . My hair was pulled out of my scalp & dean swain had no sympathy whatsoever kept putting words in my mouth about the incident. Do not send your kids here

The Counselors are horribly equipped to manage their students. At least during my time in their…read morecare. Looking back they completely failed to help me any step of the way to graduating. They need courses on youth mental health and proper training on how to help a child build a support structure. Every single person I knew who had actual problems and needed help were failed by their staff to give them any form of help aside from a shrug of the shoulders. I hope for the future of these children things have improved in the few years since I left but I highly doubt it.

Even with the high windy and rainy conditions today, the drive wasn't too bad, just a shot west of Indianapolis, about a 45 minute drive from my house. The gym entrance is located in the back, door #38. The signage was conveniently visible. I love when it's easy to find. A parking lot was located near the gym entrance, which made for painless parking which is always a good thing especially with the weather conditions. Not to many cars were in the lot. There was a counter soon after entering with young ladies and a gentleman, looked like students , working the admissions. Tickets could be purchased online or at the gate, $6/person, which seems to be the average price for a regular season game. Credit/debit only for admissions. Concessions were available, but I did not purchase anything so unsure which form of tender they take. Some kids came around towards the end of the game and gave out free popcorn which was nice. The gym looked decent and well kept. It was a different setup, not being in a secluded room, being open to hallways and lockers, pretty different. They had minimal seating on the court with most of the bleachers/spectator seating upstairs which is where I viewed the game. It wasn't too high up where I felt like I was so far away, so I was happy about that.
