I ordered 1can of spray and received a confirmation email saying I would get an email when ready to pick up. I waited 4 days and no email so I went into store and was told it was cancelled because they didn't have any. She said I should have gotten a cancellation email which I did not and was already charged for the item. She said it would be refunded in 2 days. So they took my money and I didn't get the product. And the lady was not very friendly at all. I will never order from planet beauty again and never go back to that store!!!!! read more

The Anaheim Hills location of Planet Beauty is a really fun place to shop. They have a great selection on all kinds of beauty items, and I could probably spend a good part of a quiet Saturday looking over the vast supply of shampoos, makeup, lotions, and other important beauty products. Yes, a girl can spend an hour looking for the right shade of nail polish, especially with the store's great selection of both OPI and Deborah Lippmann. The staff tries to be helpful and patient with all of my questions. They always seem to know what kind of products are the best with which kinds skin types. Although the prices are a bit expensive, the store makes up for it with a knowledgeable staff that can answer all of your beauty questions. read more

I feel swindled by this place. I bought a hair brush, brought it home and decided I wanted the smaller version. I was never told about their return policy. When I returned 2 days later with the brush still in the package she said "sorry we do not return personal items." WTF- personal item?! Their return policy is posted on a baord hanging from their ceiling well above eye view. Its also printed on the back of the receipt AFTER you purchase it. What a scam! Buyers BEWARE!! The gals that work here will lie to you for you to purchase items! I went in with a co-worker to get some items I needed instead of going all the way to the mall. Close to work and convenient right?? I bought some items and I was debating on a $20 lipgloss. The sales gals tells me ( with my co-worker as my witness) that I can bring it back if I don't like the color. 3 days return the lip gloss (with my co-worker.) Quaint little store next to Cinema City Theaters where you can find many of the top brands in beauty supply. I stopped by here today to get more shampoo and styling gel and the clerk was very friendly and helped me find just what I was looking for. They do have a membership program, kinda like the grocery stores, where you can receive 20% off most products in the store. My purchase of a small bottle of KMS shampoo and some KMS styling gel set me back about $25 but that's typical of most beauty salons. You should be able to find what you need when you come here. ive never actually stepped foot in this shop until today when i was looking for some hair coloring products the lady at the register was nice and knowledgable. she was able to answer all my questions (and trust me I had a lot. i never colored my hair by buying products at a beauty supply shop). i was able to find everything i needed in this shop for a little under 20 bucks. i got my hair color (they only carry the SATIN hair dye line), developer, brush, mixing bowl and gloves. overall i thought this shop was nicely organized and my experience here was pleasant. will def be back if i need to buy some things read more

I went to this store because Mimmies in Anaheim Hills closed down I made a call the day before to make sure they carried the product I was looking for as I entered the store I was given this rather nasty look by an older lady with long Black hair I assume she was either the manager or possibly the owner so I stopped by the front door with absolutely no "Hi please come in" as she just gave me this look of like what was I doing coming into her store so I said I called yesterday about Nioxen Shampoo and she said wait right there and walked behind the counter to ask if I had actually made that call and then she said again wait there someone will help you as I looked around and other people were able to walk around and loom at products she then said do you just want to know where it is and I said yes so she walked me over watching me like I was going to steal something and then another girl came up who was actually very nice and helped me as the other lady went towards the front of the store just watching me so I got the products I wanted although I wasn't allowed to hold the products or walk them to the cash register and I paid for the way over priced products and as I walked out I got another dirty look from the older Black haired lady and then she turned her back to me never saying anything like Thank you have a nice day or come back which was very obvious she didn't want that to happen as I walked out the door. I'm so sorry I didn't look good enough for you to shop in your over priced store and you couldn't have the Decency to be just a little polite to your PAYING customer but don't worry I will never enter your store again. What a shame I've lived in Anaheim Hiis for 23 year's and try to give my business to local businesses through these hard times but NO ONE deserves to be treated that way and YES you got what you wanted I felt Humiliated the rest of the day I hope you feel good about yourself!!!
