Four years ago I built my PC. I built it using youtube videos and didn't know what I was doing. I could not get it to work even though everything looked correct. I took it to Planet Cyber to see if they could fix it. They charged me $160, got it working and told me that the problem was that I bought the wrong RAM. They took out one of the sticks and gave it back to me. I thought that was overpriced, but at least they got it working. I recently went to upgrade it and come to find out the motherboard had a bad part all along. If Planet Cyber had told me that, I could have got my motherboard replaced under warranty. They didn't figure out the root cause and were very expensive. read more

I was in the area a week ago and passed by this place by chance, it was perfect timing for me since my iPhone's home button cracked and wasn't working. The corner of my big a** cutting board fell on it when I was working in the kitchen :'( Anyhow, I was greeted immediately at a window facing the street and they told me it would be a few hours before they can fix my phone because they had many others ahead of mine. I let them know I couldn't wait that long since I wasn't from the area and they were nice enough to offer to do mine in 20-30 minutes for $65, and I thought it was nice of them to do that. The phone was fixed in that amount of time promised and the new button did work, but it wasn't as smooth as before, and it would get stuck sometimes. I didn't wanna make a big deal out of it since they did it so fast and for so little, and it's a basic iPhone anyway, so I accepted it as is, was very thankful and then left. The next day at home, the button got stuck and so when i tried to click it again, it SHATTERED under my thumb. It was kinda shocking and funny because I have the skinniest thumbs. Clearly, it was a crappy product or awful positioning. Perhaps both?! I called them and they said they don't have the pieace available in stock and that I should go back in 3 days (Thursday) because they'll have new delivery. Thank god I called first before driving there, because they told me they still don't have it when I called. They said to wait till Saturday, which is a week from the incident! A week without a home button! I've been using the "accessibility shortcut" from the settings option as the "Home" button on my iPhone because I am unable to use the main button for a week now. Mind you, it is fully exposed now. I will post a photo soon. It honestly sucks because a single water drop near it can immediately damage the interior of the phone. I probably should put a tape on top or something. But oh well, let's hope they have the tiny piece delivered by tomorrow. read more

Do NOT go there! Wish I could give 0 star,,, I went there to just change a screen for my iPhone and in 4days I has to return my phone 3times! At the end they gave me my phone which wasn't able to unlock it!!! Then they came up with saying that it's a Software issues(but when I gave them my phone it didn't have any issues, I bought the phone new from Apple and had no problem with it at all) After waiting for almost 3 hours didn't do anything,,, so I had to take my phone and try another place to unlock and fix it. The customer service doesn't mean flirting with customers and smiling,,, it means I get what I paid for and the quality that I'm promised to see! Which didn't happen here... I have never ever left a review positive or negative for any kind of business. I am leaving this review today because I had a horrific experience with the store owner, Sid. Since the owner would not let me speak on the phone today, I decided to write out my experience since he would not allow me to talk AT ALL. I had initially an iPhone X that needed a new LCD screen repaired. Took my phone to the store and had it fixed in 15 minutes. The employee at the store asked me if I wanted the regular or the better screen. I told him that the regular screen should do it. Little did I know that the "regular screen" means the worst quality ever, meaning it was so bad that it can scratch just by merely putting the phone in your pocket. My question for the store owner is why would you sell something with such a bad quality??? He probably found the cheapest product on eBay at the worst quality possible and tried to make as much profit as possible. The quality was so bad, that before I even took the phone home, it had visible scratches on it. Going back to my story as soon as I took the phone out of my pocket on the first night I noticed it already deep scratches and the flashlight button on the bottom left screen stopped working which made me really upset because after paying $136, I would expect the phone to have a decent screen and be in the initial functioning state. Called the store the next morning at 10am and the store owner never told me on that day that there is a 30-day warranty on the screen repair, and did not offer that I take the phone back so that he can take a look. Only today after 15 days was I told that he attempted to call me back and that he had this 30-day warranty in place. When he called me today, it went very ugly. Of course, I was very upset because he sounded very annoyed and angry that I had disputed this charge which I only had disputed after 7 days of not hearing back from him. So I was trying to explain to him why I believe his service was below the acceptable standard, and he started accusing me of having sold my old phone (which I had gifted to my father) and trying to swindle him. I was trying to explain to him that I had to buy a new iPhone cash price because the phone he fixed for me was not functioning the way it was anymore before I took it in. He started cussing me out in his native language and because I have a lot of respect for people from that country, I will not disclose where he is from, but all I can tell you is he cussed me out and called me something equivalent to a "motherfucker". I was very ashamed of his behavior and even after he has offered me to bring back my old phone to have the screen repaired after reading all the other negative feedback about him and his store and his demeanor I would never EVER go back to him. I felt bad because it is Christmas time and I didn't want him to think I am a swindler and to prove a point I have canceled my credit card dispute but I told him that he will have a very bad review in return so other people know exactly what to expect if they do decide to have their phone fixed at his location. All he had to do was return my phone call the next day and offered to have my phone LCD fixed again, but cussing and accusing your customer of being a swindler is not the right way to do business. I will pray for you and I hope that this is a learning lesson for you to get back to your customers when there is a customer service concern. In short, as everyone else has said, STAY AWAY from this business. You will end up with a super cheap quality screen that will break on arrival. You will then be forced to go back for further repairs. The owner is a swindler, and accuses his customers of being swindlers. read more

I went to this place with the intention of fixing my phone which apparently is a screen problem. I paid $85 with a 30 day warranty. then the next day, I also took my laptop there to try to get it fixed. it was also a screen problem. A young tall honest man told me this was a minor issue and i do not need to replace the laptop LCD screen to save money, he told me it was a cable problem and will cost around 40 bucks and i said alright lets do it. he told me I have to leave the laptop there as they need to order parts. then around 3 days later, my iphone screen went black again and the owner now told me the warranty does not apply because it is not their fault, claiming my battery is swollen and cause the LCD to crack. And that I have to pay for another screen and neither the first payment of $85 or the warranty apply to this situation. So i ended up paying another $115 to get the battery and screen replaced with aftermarket parts (not original). So I paid $85+$115=$200 in total for the phone repair. Not only that, they try to rip me off on my laptop screen repair too and charge me additional $50 for deep cleaning which I did not ask for, and they double charge me for the cable - instead of the $40 they told me at the beginning, they tried to charge me $80 this time. Plus another $55 for labor. so they are trying to charge me $200 in total for the repair - which is way more expensive than a LCD screen. In total I paid $150 for the laptop screen repair after an intense argument he took the deep cleaning cost out. If i don't pay for it, they are not releasing the laptop. So what I actually hope to save money, ends up me spending more money than I should. The quality also sucked. Service is the worst ever. The Owner only cares about himself, no wonder he is behind 2 months in rent. The owner also blames the honest young man in the beginning who told me about the true rate and said he had COVID and should not even come to work and be helping me. I mean what kind of owner does that ?? Please DO NOT bother coming here, they gonna close down soon and take your stuff. I won't be surprised if they switched your phone/computer parts inside to make a quick buck !! read more

This review is for the shaved ice only. This is a very weird and awkward place to offer shaved ice but let me tell you, it's freaking delicious. They have a million different flavors (you can order 3), add ice cream in the middle (vanilla, chocolate or strawberry) and add a topping. The shaved ice they offer here is definitely a cross between Hawaii shaved ice and raspaos. I got the medium shaved ice, mango, guava and passionate fruit with vanilla ice cream and sweeten condense milk on top. Oh. My. God. This was a preggos dream!! It was so good that the random guy picking his feet and staring at me didn't even bother me. I have a hacker and instead of a service they have to clean up viruses on your hard drive they removed my old hard drive which I just had built with the Microsoft program of Word, Excel etc. leaving me with NOTHING! Sid was abusive to me on the phone saying I don't want to be happy. I know he just wants to hit me for $135 for a new hard drive and more $$ for putting all the programs back on. I know I didn't have any malware, the hacker was coming over my IP address. Sid took advantage of a female that was significantly distressed and upset because a stalker/hacker was calling her on her home and cell phone. LADIES do not come to this man for reassurance because he will add to your distress as he yells, does not listen and is nasty. I DO NOT endorse or support this man or his bullying tactics for me to come get my compute. He told me I could pick it up by 5 last week and wasn't there when I got there. He left it with a new guy who only works two days a week and was told to change out the hard drive. He didn't know anything else. People drive from out of town to try out the VR set, thinking its a certain price, and then find out they have to leave a 5 star review before they try the headset if they want the price advertised. The internet ping spikes for a few minutes about every hour, at least every two. Sometimes people will download a game(or some other reason, i don't care) and the ping will be 150+ for up to hours. I mean that the ping is not playable for most games for that entire time. Ask any of the younger guys that play there, this happens all the time, and for hours at a time. Take note of the pattern in the reviews. Really few reviews, all of which rate this place low, and then a bunch of 5 star reviews. Its not because they started doing things better, its because of the VR. F I bought a muffin in May of 2016 that was expired in 2015. Doesn't sound that bad except the expiration dates on those things are years ahead when you buy them. They do not reimburse time or make any other concession when people disconnect. I have been there with 15+ people inside when everyone disconnects at once. They act like it just doesn't happen.People complain to each other and commiserate and the management / employee doesn't acknowledge the problem at all. Planet Cyber let me bring in the computer the same day, and removed the password lock-out in a few minutes. They then discovered that the fan was not functioning to full capacity making the computer run very hot. They showed me EXACTLY what was wrong with the computer. Okay, so we get there and walk in to see a nearly empty building with an array of electronic devices and 1 or 2 nerds that need to pull up their fatigue shorts. We walk up to this highly foreign man working the front, and we ask for three tickets to see Oculus Rift. He said something that sounded like "women only," however he didn't, it was just his thick accent. He actually said "appointment only," and said in addition, "You cannot have it." My friends and I were simply confused because we asked if anyone else has a reservation, and there wasn't any before us. Then the foreign man went outside to smoke a cigarette. What a distasteful habit. Darn, we felt weird, so weird in fact that my friends and I somehow found our way to World Market for no reason at all. The service there was wonderful by the way. They have a pretty good selection of food and snacks, but what food is to enjoy if you can't even get a good computer game going? Overall, poor excuse for an internet pub. read more

First of all, they charge $1.95 for an Arizona iced tea. The same Arizona iced tea that is 99 cents at the gas station a few minutes walk away. RIP OFF. Second, the owner was shouting in Persian behind the counter for my whole time there. Big turn off. Third, they play some music over the stereo for the whole cafe to hear. It's a negative for me because it was sad music. Fourth, the computers and the monitors were nice, big and fast. The computer worked great. All the software was fast. Fifth, the computer had a good amount of ADWARE. This didn't make me feel safe because there may as well be spyware. Tons of pop ups. I was using google and safe sites, so the POP UPS were ADWARE. Sixth, the cafe has plenty of seating. Air conditioned and nice decoration The price, $4 for an hour was fine with me! Oh I don't know I actually had fun when I came here. We came as a group to play some counterstrike and every time we come I think this place keeps growing or adding things to it. Which is kinda nice. They had an aquarium put in. New to me. They started providing Hookahs like a Hookah lounge. A coffee shop with all the trimmings. Oh and they did have some nice computers with headsets. Granted a couple of machines were down but it wasn't too many. They had enough machines for the 6 of us to jump on and get a group game going. This is the kind of place you go when you don't want to spend all your time setting up servers, computers and people together. You just show up and play.
