My wife and I are in town from the Chicago area visiting relatives. We came in to work out two of the three days we were here. I have to say, I like the layout of the Chillicothe gym better than our home gym. The employees were very welcoming. When we checked in and they seen we were from out of town they explained the setup of the gym to us and again very welcoming. I would recommend Planet Fitness to anyone. A lot of great gym equipment. The people are nice. The hosts are nice. The locker rooms are nice. There is a lot of room to work out. There are a lot of machines too. All in all it is by far the best planet fitness I have ever seen. I have heard it compared to planet fitnesses in densely populated areas such as Myrtle Beach. read more

The facility was decently clean, but well stocked. It is very small for a Planet Fitness, but there are more than enough machines of all kinds, lockers, showers, toilets, etc. Everything you'll need for a good gym. The staff was friendly when I walked in, and They are VERY handicapped friendly, which really made me smile. There are places that do the minimum to make it handicapped ACCESSIBLE but this gym does more to make it handicapped FRIENDLY. Kudos to you all! Thumbs up. read more

The staff here had no clue at Grand opening. I signed up during pre-grand opening before I knew I was moving an hour away, but I was within the cancellation period of the contract. I went to this location to cancel my contract (not a membership yet because I didn't have a card or anything), yet they thought I wanted to cancel my membership and said I had to pay the $60 fee. I explained to them the contract clearly stated it could be cancelled within 9 days of opening and I was there at day 7. Associate after associate were asked and no one had a clue. Finally, they said they'd check with the manager on Monday. Half an hour after I left, I got a call dating they would cancel the contact, no fee, no problem. I said thank you and thought it was handled. I even filed out a cancellation form for them while I was there. Fast forward a month and I see a charge on my account for the monthly fees and I was livid. I emailed corporate that they needed to cancel it and told them the whole story. I'm pretty sure there's a new manager there now, and she tried calling me, but I never was able to call her back. The good news is, I haven't seen a new charge this month yet, so hopefully it's been taken care of. If so, kudos to you for getting at least one person in there who has a clue. Amazing place . In from California and the place is one of the best . I have gone to crunch, golds and many of the top gyms . This place has the most variety of equipment to include the most cardio I have ever seen. Their monthly fees are the lowest. The staff is friendly , the clientele are from all ages and fitness and as they say no judgement. The place is also the cleanest and best temperature controlled. My family lives here and took me and to have a week to workout at a great place like this was awesome. Thanks to the team there, great job. This is a very serious and honest review !!! My first review on this location was five stars. That was over a year ago. I am back in town for another 8 weeks and resigned up. First off I signed up during a promotion and was billed. I was then billed again 4 days later for a full month..... I tried to call and never received an answer. So I sent an email request and big surprise no response there either. There are a couple friendly staff here at the time I come in so I cant speak for all shifts. A petite young lady with dark curly hair and a young man with a beard. They are about the only two I've had good encounters with at that time in the evening. But last night I came in and had an encounter with the rudest employee I have ever seen. She was a blond girl don't know her name, but I was unaware of the scan yourself in process. It wasn't just myself that walked in but another couple was right behind me. She rolled at her eyes and in the snottiest tone said do it yourself right here!!!! Then just gave me a hateful glare. That alone makes me not want to come back. If you hate your job that much, find something else. They also don't enforce the wipe off the equipment when your done with it policy. They need to enforce that policy! I received a nasty bout of ringworm from a planet fitness in another state. read more
