I go to planet fitness all over the country. This is one of my favs. Everything is new and very clean. The staff cleans when they're not helping guests. They have a good system of keeping things clean. All black card amenities are well kept too. You get a bottle of cleaner when you use any black card luxury. Bathrooms are very clean and always have tp. Really very please. They even have the synergy 360. The girls on Night Shift are very friendly! the women's locker room smelled just awful. the staff wouldn't leave me alone while I worked out. and as a women, that's the LAST thing I want. ‍Nit to mention the staff wouldn't leave me alone to work out. I was the only one in the gym, and being in the intensive workout room by myself I thought that was a sign to LEAVE ME ALONE. Nah but dude proceeds to come in, do pull ups right in front of me so I can't use the equipment. Then proceeded to TELL ME how women's rights aren't under siege. Our water doesn't work so we have been using this gym to shower and also sometimes exercise for a moment. It's great. They don't treat us badly for seeming homeless although I think they're catching on. I have yet to hear the lunk alarm but am looking forward to it. read more

I'm a trucker and travel with a 6 pond service animal well behaved I don't expect to have her on a treadmill however I take her in with me to brush my teeth and use facilities before I workout I never have a problem most locations are great about my service dog however this location is not I cannot argue the ada laws with someone who does not believe it's accommodating today this morning I wasn't allowed to take my service animal in so I could use the facilities it clearly states she is allowed as long as she's tethered abd behaved er service animal guidelines read more

Ive used Planet Fitness for last couple years and love that their facilties are clean and offer tanning and massaging table and chairs and get a shower because I am on the go all the time and visit multiple facilities. They are worth the money you spend and offer more than most other gyms. The best part is is the fact you do not feel intimidated there as it is a judgement free zone. read more

I like planet fitness up until they started forcing people t wear masks. So running on the treadmill breathing heavy and having to breath my own carbon dioxide. Very Unhealthy. But can't say much, have you seen our governor for Illinois and how he thinks he knows best for our health? May just bite the bullet and buy my own workout equipment and drop this membership. I wish I could give less stars.... I've been on automatic withdrawal for months and he's NO CLUE. I don't even live here anymore.... so now I get to drive all the way to Mattoon to end it. It's honestly a very clean and nice facility to tan, workout, etc. but the automatic withdrawal & not being able to cancel over the phone is basically theft. read more

Planet Fitness had automatic withdrawal on my daughters account and because she went 2 days before here contract ended they took the full membership out of 39.00 for the next year. They told her she was supposed to come at least 7 days before because of the automatic bank withdrawal and since she came to them 5 day later it was too late and they won't give a refund.
