I'm not innocent in all this as I was drunk and did swear at the call operator, however that was at the end of the call because of how I was treated. All I wanted to do was cancel an order that was misplaced. I informed that the order was too late to arrive stating that it was etimated at 01:30 even though it was 01:05 by my own mistake, and was given serious verbal abuse from there on, I was called a fat cunt and a liar regarding the time I said it was estimated, even though it makes no difference weather this was a fabrication or not, as I was a customer attempting to not get charged for an order I did not want. I tried to explain to the call oporator that someone else used my card on the order, and that it wasn't me who placed it to try and resolve the issue. This did not move the conversation to a result but instead the call oporator continued to insult by calling me a fucking dumbo, and informed that he could make it so it looked like they delivered the order and then take my money. He continued to ask did you lie about the estimated time? And at this point I thought it would be best to apologise and agree to lying even though it was just a simple mistake. He didn't accept the apology, and said that they should take the money for how I was being. Which is exactly what happened, I have been charged £14.50, so basically I have been robbed by this restaurant. Drunk or not a customer should never be treated the way I have, and the theft of my money should hopefully emplore you to look elsewhere for a choice of takeout. read more
