This is the perfect store to pick up an organic or veggie treat. They have everything any vegan, vegetarian or just plain health nut can need. When my mom was visiting, I wanted to make sure I had everything for her to make her feel at home so I went to Planta Maestra and picked up her favorite brand of Almond milk and although it was a bit more expensive than in the states (it cost 4 mil) I was very happy to know I had the option of getting it here. Planta Maestra has a couple of other stores in Santiago, but I have seen this one in Bellas Artes, although smaller, has better prices (however, in general, the majority of what they sell is on the expensive side). They also have dried cranberries that are sugar and preservative free! The products they sell are from the same well-known organic and vegan brands you can find in the states. Planta Maestra also sells beauty products and stuff to make baby food! If you are looking for essential oils to make your own lotions or shampoos you can find them here - including tea tree oil. If you need any types of teas, yogurt, coconut water, almond flour etc they have it. They also sell tasty desserts and cookies that are vegan and gluten free! Everything here is delicious. They also have a frozen section with tofu and other snacks.
