I don't know where to begin! Results were way above my expectations. I needed landscaping done in a large area that was invaded with Rose of Sharon seedlings overgrown bushes and issues with drainage. Plantique did an amazing job! They took care of it all, and the work was superior and highest quality I've experienced from any landscaping company in my 75 years. Plus, the price was lower than any estimates I had received. Halfway through the job, I decided to take out more overgrown bushes in the front of my house and the took care of it flawlessly. They were so cooperative and sent another crew the next morning, and in less than an hour, everything looked great! They work meticulously and clean up left everything looking meticulous and I'm very OCD. No mess, excellent results, great workers who are friendly and responsive, and I will not call anyone else for any of my yard and garden projects ever again. Thank you Plantique, for a great job! If you want to wait for your landscaping project estimate for more than 4 months, or if you love being ghosted and ignored, Plantique is for you! I contacted them in March for a overhaul of our existing landscaping. Mike D. came out quickly but that was the last time he moved fast. After he told me I don't have to be here, I gave permission for him to return in "a few days" for pictures and measurements. I didn't hear from in again until 6/8. While I was out, he sent a text saying he'd stop by in 30 minutes. I didn't see the text until an hour or so (?) later but I responded okay. I never heard from him or anyone at Plantique again. If the job was too big, or too complicated, or if they didn't have enough staff, they should have been upfront with me instead of having me waste months on them. This is not the same Plantique of years gone by. Their customer service is non-existing. It wasn't until after they ghosted me that I read their poor reviews. We have used Plantique for the past 3-4 years and every year there has been an issue that warrants the need for them to come back and make things right. And to be fair, they do. They aren't cheap. The things that need "fixing" are simple, but with their cost, we shouldn't have to go out and complete their work. (pick up cigarette buts, hide drainage pipes with mulch, hide electrical wires, pick up bush trimmings, etc.) We tried to hire them again this year (after spending thousands over these past 3-4 years) but received a phone call on 3/22/22 canceling our appointment by telling us that they refuse to come back out to our house as we are too picky!!! We were so happy with the initial landscaping work (front and back yards, patio, and deck) done by Plantique in 2017 that we called them back to landscape the sides of the property and the utility box area. We were thrilled with the results! The design is perfect for our yard, and something is in bloom throughout each of the seasons. Every year we have Plantique return to do a Spring clean-up and trim all the perennials and shrubs. There were a couple of times when we were not completely satisfied, but they returned and made things right. The past two years, the crew were exceptional! They just did the 2023 clean-up yesterday, and our property looks like it was newly landscaped, but with mature vegetation! The guys were prompt, courteous, conscientious, and proficient. We reached out to Plantique in the fall to get an estimate on some grading and landscaping for our front garden bed area. Whenever it would rain heavy, we would have a lot of water pooling issues. Mike from Plantique came out, took pictures and measurements, and got back to us with a reasonable quote. We had the work done in early December. The guys that came out were very friendly and ensured that the work was done to spec. They even added a little extra mulch and work that we didn't expect. Overall, the work looks great! Friends and family have already commented on how great it looks. They even threw in a free top-off/cleaning after the winter ends. If I could give one area for improvement it would be the timeliness in communication and scheduling. There would be a few days of delay when a request was made. But it's not enough to remove a star. My wife hired them to mulch/edge remove a pine tree and grind the stump .She had them replace the pine with a holly tree . This tree is awful looking. The more I looked at it the more it bothered me. I complained finally and someone came out and looked at it and the answer was it will look better in a year or two. We hired Plantique for a major landscaping project in our backyard. My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of the design proposal. We also had a fairly small window in which to do the work before a visit from my son and his family. Plantique completed the work within that tight window, and delivered exactly to the project spec. We called in early April to get a landscape project completed before Memorial Day weekend as we are having a Family Party.We received the estimate and gave our deposit. We were told we cannot get on the schedule without a deposit The Estimator called and said we were on the schedule for Monday May 20th .When we called back( to add to the project possibly) a few weeks later we found out we were never on the schedule and the estimator denied giving us the date.This is about plants and rocks and trees so it's not a life or death situation- but that level of unprofessionalism is disappointing. They refunded our deposit upon our request so that was good,but we chose this Company based on name only which was not smart.We called a smaller company who we have worked with before and they are doing all of the work for us on time and for less money. read more

I've always wanted a Plantique creation and I've finally got one....in Philadelphia PA! Plantique (via Mike D our genius designer) created a wonderful, beautiful landscape paradise at my Philly residence taking into account the lack of space. Yet, my backyard appeared to be larger than when I started. Talk about effective use of space!!!! The guys are professional and courteous and my neighbors noted that they have never seen a more professional, exact group of landscapers. They also made the effort to clean up. They left the yard in pristine condition before leaving at night. Dave, the carpenter, is also phenomenal. My neighbors are calling my back yard an "oasis", "paradise", "a resort in your back yard". They called the custom pergola the "Taj Mahal of pergolas". I can't adequately express how wonderful my back yard is. My neighbor had a party over the 4th of July and everyone of their guests took pictures of my back yard. Several people are asking that my backyard be illustrated in the Philly magazine. I think I will. For those of you that are cost conscious (as I am) Plantique gave me the best value for my money. We used Plantique years ago for a large landscaping project and we were very happy. We used them for our new house and haven't had the same experience. After you sign a contract you need to keep calling to get them to do the work. They finally showed but do didn't everything contracted for. And to add to this the landscape design work and yard work initially done was disappointing for the money we paid. We've finally had enough and will find someone else in the future. read more

We've had Plantique do our landscaping for many years. In the past, they have performed admirably, working quickly and neatly. Our experience this year was quite the opposite. Their workers hurried through our job, leaving things undone that we had contracted for. They also left piles of debris on our patio and the steps to our deck stained with mulch. It took us several phone calls and emails to get someone out to finish up the work. However, they never cleaned the stain from our steps, despite repeated requests to do so. Very disappointed at Plantique's Customer Service and how the owner runs the business. Signed a contract and paid in full for Spring Clean up in March and never got a call, text or email when they would be doing the work. I ended up canceling the work and getting my money back. Memorial Day is a week away and they still didn't know when they were getting to my yard. Guess they don't need the business or my yard is too small. This was my first experience with Plantique. I required a major spring clean-up for landscaping that was not well cared for over the years. A full team was at our property for a whole day. They were well supervised and worked diligently right up to the end. Everything was cleaned up and disposed of. After the mulch was applied, the result looked terrific. At first, plantique was willing to do a good job for us. It was a great company at first. Then said for this amount of money would do more for the pond and yard. Well the job has never been finished since June . The grass wasn't planted, pond was not finished. Shrubs were never planted around pole barn, which as a fool , I paid them in full. I called Plantique because I have seen their work on my neighbors lawn. Nick was my contact person. The job involved removal of a large tree and the construction of a stone wall with shrubs. After the wall was constructed I did not like it. I called Nick. We had several conversations and he and his crew returned and worked on the wall until I was satisfied. The wall is beautiful! I was so happy with the work in my front yard done by Plantique a few weeks ago that I'm re-hiring them to do the back yard. Lisa was the designer I worked with. She was extremely informative and really interacted with us to make sure the end result was exactly what we wanted. In addition I had lots of fun working with her. The landscaping crew consisted of three young men by the names of Juan, Alex, and Austin. You will never meet a greater crew. Due to recent damage at our home, I called Plantique for a landscaping estimate. I made the mistake of telling the receptionist that the estimate would be used by the insurance company. After the receptionist spoke with the salesperson, I was told that insurance estimates cost $250 and they would not just write-up a repair quote for me to provide to our insurance company. OMG, what a ripoff! Obviously I could not increase the cost of the insurance claim by $250 and would have been out-of-pocket that expense. Well, not only did Plantique lose out on our small landscaping insurance job, but I definitely will not contact them for our much larger hardscaping job that I'll be getting estimates for in the spring. Beware of their lawn maintenance program. I had a very bad experience with them. The crew would come random days and not come on days that they said. Also, they did a very sloppy job when they would come. I would want to speak with the supervisor to discuss my concerns and he would not return my calls. A few years ago we hired plantique to re-do our backyard landscaping. They performed a bait and switch. The design they initially came up with was great - and we were told they would take care of all permits. Well, they lied to the permit office to get the permits and then put all the work in and - surprise - the township came back and said this isn't what you got a permit for and the work that was done didn't meet township specs ( fence was too close to road, etc ). Months of daily phone calls and arguing with plantique finally got them to show up and make changes that brought the backyard into code compliance. But now the design is not what we signed up for and they refused to change the price on a now much smaller than we paid for back yard. These people are the worst. Stay away! read more
