Half of the employees are horribly rude and act like they can't be bothered. The other half is amazing. I take clothes regularly however there are a couple employees that have an attitude as if you are bothering them. How can someone go through 2 full totes in 30 minutes?? They can't. I might get $50. Another employee goes through the same batch and I end up making $300. The redhead is very rude and I hate whenever she's the one going through my things. You feel as if you are bothering her or annoying. I bring all of my clothes and shop there constantly because they have a nice selection of clothes but have been considering consignment shops instead due to certain employees attitude. Nice selection of clothing and accessories! Very clean & well kept. Best part was the helpful staff. I popped in while moving from Florida to Wisconsin and was able to find some warmer clothing to tide me over for the last bit of cooler Wisconsin weather. Have tried to sell them my clothes quite often. All Fashion Nova new with tags. They will only by like 3 items of clothing off of you at one time because they don't want to pay out so much. I took them 1 tote of clothes. They told me everything was refused. When I got my tote home and went through everything some items were missing. The clothes in the middle of the tote were balled up to appear just as full as when I brought them in. I know my teal crew neck sweater and my black cardigan with dolman sleeves were gone. I'm not sure what else if any are missing, but I will notice as time goes on. I won't be going back. read more

Came in with a tot full of brand new clothes folded and everything, probably worth over 200 for 30-40 shirts. They was all in great condition and still had tags on them. I brought them over to Plato's and they gave me 10 dollars and took 3 shirts, I understand some maybe wasn't up to date but majority was clothes I had bought and forgot about. I was extremely disappointed and on top of it they had no respect to fold the clothes back. So basically fuck Plato's in Paducah I will never be going back ever again. Came in to purchase men's shorts. Shorts Prices for brands that they no longer make were $12.00 with others being $14.00. Um, a few more bucks and I can get new. I made a comment to the staff that I thought that they were overpriced compared to other Plato's that I have been to in big cities like Chicago metro. But I needed another pair of shorts for my hubby so I bought one of the $12.00 pairs. He wore them 1 day and when he leaned over to pick up a weed, the pants ripped 8 inches and not at the seam either. What a waste of money. Please lower your prices. Unbelievable. I have been to Plato's all over the country (in bigger cities, no less) and this one blows them all out of the water. Selection and style is AMAZING, and the customer service is top notch. Greeted the second you walk into the door, and they take care of you from start to finish. Special thanks to Emily, who kindly offered any help finding a special outfit, and carried my treasures up front as I acquired them so I wouldn't have to carry them around.
