The store makes me feel like I've walked into some wealthy lady's dressing room. Clothes everywhere. Lingerie everywhere. Decorations everywhere. Kids toys. Housewares. Every time I go in I just want to lounge on the settee and have my servants cater to my every whim. OK, back to reality. As mentioned, Anthropologie is a hodge podge (I mean that in a good way) of clothing, decor and books. The clothes can be a bit over the top but the closer you look the more likely you'll find something of interest. The cool thing is they also have kids toys and housewares. It's almost a one stop shop. Another dose of reality is their prices. They're on the high side, but like many things in life you get what you pay for. Often times you can find the decor items at a better price, but by the time you find (if you even do) you'll likely have spend that much in time and effort. If you have eclectic tastes go here and have a feast of eye candy.

Everything is exquisite and beautiful, and it's also reflected in the price. If I were the average customer there though (i.e. a more mature woman with an established career), I suppose I would be able to afford it. They do have some very reasonably priced jackets though and their shoes tend to be affordable. Everything in here is beautiful, very tailored and of the moment. I really love their jeans and found a really cool black pair of skinny jeans with black shiny accents of leather on the back pockets. Looking for a suit, I decided to check out Laura since they had a sale of extra 20% off sale items and with my Laura card, I would save an extra 10% off. I like they have a large Petite section as well. I went on an early morning so it didn't seem there were many sales people. I grabbed a handful of clothes and the saleslady started a fitting room for me. When I tried them on, I went to grab another size as I'm sure she was busy with other customers. I decided on a suit and went to pay. I was returning a top, so she had to get the manager to ring in my sale. When I was in the line up, I saw at least 2 other sales staff on the other side of the store who were standing around. It would have been nice if I received some service while in the fitting room. For a top, pants, and suit jacket it was just over $200 which is quite reasonable for something I know will last years to come. In this shopping experience the price was good but the service wasn't. It seems to be the trend these days.

Found some cool Christmas sweaters in there. Has decent priced clothing. Would have given four stars except the staff weren't great. Three sales people behind the till, no one walking through the store. One was sitting in a chair with her feet up. They were discussing the difference between kilograms and pounds one stated that she remembered hearing someone was 100lbs and thinking "man, that's fat" before realizing that 100lbs wasn't actually that much. Conversation is innocent enough but being a 200lbs woman standing at the till purchasing from your store... optics aren't great. Staff should be considerate and mindful of the conversations they're having. Didn't leave with a great impression.

Just the location alone is reminiscent of trendy underground shopping districts of the world's fashion meccas. Today I went looking for a unique fresh item or two for upcoming events and to celebrate the deliciously light spring high heel weather of Edmonton these days. Truly it is only at Tiffany Blue that one can try on Calvin Klein, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel and Nine West in the span of twenty minutes. A glass of wine and some chocolates in between dresses, clean and spacious change rooms, friendly and helpful customer service and a high likelihood of falling in love with amazing pieces of fashion provide plenty of reasons to stop in. Make sure you give yourself some time to drool at the counter display of Chloe and KASUN London amongst many other exclusive brands of jewellery and sunglasses to make the perfect outfit a reality. You'll have to pay more than you would for a baseball cap at another store but here, your hat gets customized, making it one of a kind! The majority of the hats here are for guys. When the first opened, this was a women's clothing store only. I'm not upset about them catering to women, but I'm more disappointed at their lack of an attempt to have a proper men's section. As of now, their store is 95% women's clothing, 5% mens. If you were wondering, the 5% is just a tiny table located at the back and a half filled rack on the far corner. Perhaps the only saving grace was the sales lady, who even admitted herself that she's been asked many times everyday whether they will have more guy's clothing. Eventually perhaps, but otherwise your best bet would be Harry Rosen, Urban, or other premium clothing stores.
