I took over five years of…read morelessons and I can say that her "scolding" is more than what should be accepted, unless of course it is fine to ask a child whether they have a learning disability as an insult. She tones down her "scoldings" when there are other people around, especially parents, and often shames you in front of the other students. You should not ask your kids to tolerate her, especially for something as insignificant as piano, although she would have you believe otherwise. She's verbally abusive on a good day, and Lord save you on a bad day. I still have nightmares from my time with her and cannot even sit on a piano bench without my muscles freezing. The class just sets you up to accept being abused as if it is the norm. Talk to your child and please don't dismiss their concerns. She places the fault on the child for the way that she acts rather than taking responsibility for the poor way that she treats them.

Even after reporting the phishing to her it continued. We tried to reschedule one lesson and she offered a date and then rescinded the date as she said it was an accident. Then she hung up on me when I shared that we could only do the original date offered (or probably lots of other days, but never got to find out since she hung up on me.).

I took a SUP lesson with The Surf Professor in Kaneohe and was able to see Chinamans Hat for the first time in a very special way. Ian was calming and his instruction was clear. He taught me about reading the ocean and being able to identify areas I should avoid based on how the ocean behaved on the surface. As we paddled out further he gave me a brief Hawaiian Landscape Mythology talk of what we could see. I was even able to ride a small rolling surf which I'd never thought I'd like. Hands down best SUP lesson I've ever had. I'm planning on taking a surf lesson with The Surf Professor soon. If you want a more personalized experience away from the usual tourist mayhem, this is the guy to go to. Long session to be able to really learn. Personalized lesson based on what you want to get out of the lesson and affordable price.

Each session was about an hour long, and was well worth the time and money spent. The instructor was never late, and the courses we took always had us finishing on time (something very important in my busy schedule). We only drove places that I felt comfortable with, starting off on the surface streets, then proceeding to the main roads and finally the freeway. The instructor teaches good driving habits in terms of turning, changing lanes, controlling the speed of your vehicle, etc. Yes, he did take the wheel and readjusted my course a couple of times in the first session, but that's because I was veering off center! It's comforting that he pays enough attention to do this, and his vehicle is also equipped with a brake on the passenger side, just in case. It didn't take me the amount of time that I thought it would to get comfortable enough to take the road test, and the instructor was kind enough to recommend cutting the number of sessions. You know you're dealing with a good guy when he willingly sacrifices paid sessions because he knows you no longer need his services. Overall, I'd recommend Haskell's to anyone learning to drive, at any age (teens or adults). The instructor and his wife are both great people and extremely easy to work with. No complaints here.

Admission for Keiki Republic - Kids are $15/$16 approx for one hour and one parent is free with one paying child and additional parent would be $5.00 (hope this info in helpful) Parking - Don't have too work about parking lots of ample parking at windward mall and it's free parking as well so you don't have to stress about parking. Lockers - They have lockers as well for customers to place your belongings etc. Restroom - They have their own private restroom inside of Keiki republic and it's co-ed.
