Fantastic Beach not too touristy but always lots of people about, and always somthing going on…read more have spent many a day lounging here, swimming in the sea and reading a book. Plus there are a few nice bars and cafes near by to refuel. Although never look forward to the walk up the hill to get home at the end of the day!

It's a really clean, soft, yellow-sand beach. Long and wide. The ocean is pretty warm in summer and most parts are public. Best to bring your own gear, even though there are several places to rent an umbrella and chairs. Several showers are lined up along the beach to clean yourself from the sand and salty water after your dip. Around lunchtime there isn't much action, due to the hot sun. Later in the afternoon it gets more crowded....but nowhere near packed. It's a really nice and relaxing beach, not much noise, no watersports. Nice to just lay back or have a walk with your feet in the water. Along the road there are lots of free parking lots. Which is great to still see free lots nowadays. Beautiful Beach. We loved it

25-Dec-2018. A beach you want to visit on Christmas Day (the rest of the year, summer, is fine…read moretoo). A friendly crowd of drunk folks dressed in red, dancing and having fun today (mostly not Spanish). Dogs allowed, beer sold, toilets open, awesome weather - what not to like? Came late, around 3pm, better come a bit earlier. You can bring BBQs and chairs or sit in one of the cafes on the beach. Just off the N-332, street parking available.
A beautiful casual passerby who agreed to stand still and pose. La Zenia Beach
Definitely some awesome views here BUT: sharp rocks, slippery algae and strong waves make this…read moreplace a bit dangerous to say the least (I decided not to post my wounds :-) ). Be very careful if you dare to swim. Mornings, when the sea is calmer, is a probably a better time to visit. Bring water shoes (not sandals or slippers). If you are reading this while your slippers are floating away - don't try to catch them! It will do even more harm, just let them go :) Don't bring kids. Some people come here for fishing but I haven't tried that (yet). Bottom line: there are beaches with sand. Soft sand. Normal sand. Not surrounded by rocks. Sharp rocks. With calm sea water (not "big ocean water"). Go there!
