Love the room & den options. Staff is always friendly. Only complaint is music with DJ Wolf; far too much 80s music (Doesn't fit the vibe of a sex club IMO). Suggest having a number we can text (while using phone in the lobby) for song requests. I had a membership here last year. I plan to sign up again as a single this year. I do think the door fee is a little high. Comparing to other clubs like this I've visited from the east coast I loved my time spent there. They have great amenities available and are thorough in offering anything you might need in terms of personal hygiene. I loved the VIP I rented nice room with window. I did not notice any camera in that area but its been since before COVID since I've attended. I think the atmosphere is laid back relaxing, and I give them a 4 star only because of the members not the staff or owners. The long term members do not seem to accept new comers very easily and are a little hard to communicate with. Cant wait to visit again..... read more

Some of the other reviews I have seen, I think week mostly first timers and they missed the your with Donny. He will walk you through the different parts of the club. Without that you would not know the optional areas of the club, and those are what set this place apart. Yes the is a normal dance club, which as the night goes on becomes every bit of clothing optional. Then there are Cabana's and private rooms. Theme rooms, public rooms, not to mention one of the cities best corsets and clubware. Love this place. Wife and I found this place a few months ago and try to go in every couple of weeks since then. BE AWARE! This is the not the best swinger club but it's the only one in San Antonio. The DJ's lack experience since the music is not the best. The DJ tends to clear the dance floor with the selection of music. The biggest disappointment is that this establishment has video cameras all over the club. In case you all do not know, they have cameras in the private Dens. Management tried to explain that it was for security reasons but that does not make sense since the cameras are pointed directly toward the beds. We, as customers, deserve privacy especially when you have to pay to use the Dens. The sign that they have posted in the front doesn't specify that the cameras are in the private rooms. That is not acceptable. SO BE AWARE THAT YOU ARE BEING RECORDED. read more

My wife and I have been looking for a good swingers club in San Antonio. Staff were welcoming and wheeled me and the missus into a private room. The area was spacious enough for my wheelchair, and the seating was comfortable enough for me to relax while my wife enjoyed a large African gentleman, who was able to please her in ways I have not since my crippling injury in the war. Visit: 11/11/2017 Now, much like many clubs are doing now, Player's has its own website in which you can RSVP, pay, and see who is attending each event; we did this. Plus since we wanted to get the full experience and be able to share it with you, we got a semi-private VIP den that overlooked the social area, was close to the Kama Sutra room, and was close to the play area. The VIP den was an additional $50, but it came with our own bed, table with two chairs, and unlimited mixers (there are 6 available VIP dens). Since it was our first time, we also purchased a 3 month membership which was $33 and the door fee was $45. So although $128 sounds like a lot; take out the membership fee next time and MAYBE we won't get the den, it's only $45 on a Saturday night. That's not bad at all. And we honestly are not sure if they offer one night memberships for people who are out of towners or out of starters like we usually are. At the door there were two women checking in each person or couple for a faster process. Single men are not allowed on Saturday nights. Also at the front desk they were selling black rings and allowing you to fill out your membership paperwork to the side if you had not yet done it online. After that is all said and done, you are buzzed into the club. The bathrooms are on your immediate left as you walk in and the bar stretches down the wall on your left hand side; it is a very nice sized bar with amazing and gorgeous staff. In front of you is going to be the social area; it's possibly one of the best social areas we have ever seen in a lifestyle club with lots of open seating and great use of the space. There's also even a third floor/balcony just off of the VIP dens and above the playroom entrance with open seating. Now, one thing to know and take into consideration; your dance floor is basically right in the middle of the club with the DJ stage at the head of it, smoking is permitted on the bar side of the dance floor to include the pool table area which is located at the end of the bar on the opposite side of the club as the bathrooms and entry. The other side of the club, where the VIP Dens and Kama Sutra room are located, are smoke free. And one might think, with there being smoking allowed at all, that the whole place is smoky; that is not the case. The ceiling height and size of the venue allow for great ventilation, which allowed us to leave the club not smelling like smoke. Another smoke free area was the elevated seating area on the opposite wall from the DJ booth. It was very much like a lounge with couches and tables for people to relax and socialize, plus a small dancefloor. Now that we have laid out the amazing social area for you: from the bar, to the VIP dens (which we loved), to the elevated lounge area, to the pool table (we believe there were two actually), to the dance floor (which had cages), to the stage for the DJ (which also had cages on both sides we believe as well as a shadow box)...ALL of these areas, minus the pool table and of course the tables, are fair play for sextracurricular activities! But there is also an amazing play area as well which the entry is located to the left DJ booth/stage. And like any amazing club, there are lockers located as you get into the play area. But instead of needing to remember to bring a lock and instead of renting or buying a lock; they have zip ties that just go on the lockers and keep your belongings safe. If you need to get stuff out; no worries, one of the lovely play room attendants will cut off the zip tie for you and then you can put on a new one when you are done. The attendants will also help you locate towels and wash cloths at the front of the playroom. ALSO in the front of the playroom, or to the right as you walk in, is the biggest bean bag chair we have ever seen sitting right below a huge projected screen which had porn on it. There was also an amazing sex swing in this area as well with a fun liberator couch. Then as you turn around from the bean bag, there is a voyeur room with 3 beds and of course a plexiglass window and a viewing bench on the outside. As you leave this area and walk by the gorgeous playroom attendant, you'll come to a narrow hallway with 3 semi-private play rooms with full beds on each side. We say semi-private because they have sheer curtains that separate those on/in the bed and those walking/standing in the hallway. And at the end of the hall is group room with two full beds. We know that's a lot of information, but when we really love a club we do our best to be as thorough as possible. And we really loved this club. From the people (Tom and Bonnie, the owners, are amazing people. Kevin and Virginia were also great. Shanna gave us an amazing tour and her husband Monte was wonderful to talk to), to the music (the DJ at one point played Bodak Yellow and then followed it up with Boot, Scoot, and Boogie; it was surreal), to the overall vibe; everything was amazing. read more

The hubby and I like to travel a great deal and during our travels, we like to check out the local swingers clubs. We're well travelled and seasoned swingers so we apologize if we offend any of the locals but here is the honest and brutal truth: We were a little discouraged when we saw that the club was in a strip mall in an area of town surrounded by check cashing establishments & cash for gold businesses. Still, we pressed on. There was ample self parking and valet parking which is a plus in our book. We arrived at the registration desk to enroll in our temporary membership. Very few clubs we have been to have offered anything like that and we considered that a plus as well. The membership fees we paid were comparable to larger and more upscale clubs that we've frequented so we were disappointed that the price charged doesn't command the same luxuries as more well known clubs. We cannot say enough good things about the two women we encountered at the front desk. They were extremely helpful, outgoing, and very nice to look at. They are the Diamonds in the rough at this club unfortunately. Once inside, we were shocked to see nothing upscale. It had the look and feel of a dive bar. Someone else had noted the plastic coverings on the tables and that was the first thing I had noticed. Rows and rows or plastic covered tables. We had considered purchasing access to the VIP den but we passed because we wanted to mingle with the locals. From what we saw, it would have been a huge waste of money. The volunteer bartenders were friendly and courteous, and the setups seemed adequate. What we needed, was promptly furnished. The theme for this evening was Lock and Key but by the time we had made it there (an hour after opening for the evening), they were already out. A great theme for an ice breaker but obviously not well thought out. The music being played was a mix of top 40's and standard bar songs (the Electric slide and Wobble baby) but the dance floor was never empty. We enjoyed watching the brave souls who danced in the shadow box and cages, one of the few interesting things this club had to offer. After we enjoyed watching people dance, we decided to check out the play rooms. We loved the group room with the window but found the "don't be creepy" sign rather comical. What constitutes as being creepy when you're watching people having sex? We decided to check out the more intimate playrooms when we noted the attendant. She was sitting in a rocking chair wearing glasses and knitting...and she bore a striking resemblance to my mother in law. As the hubby would say "major boner killer". We understand a need for an attendant in a sensitive environment but perhaps one of the younger members for this area? And one who actually pays attention and not completely focused on the knitting?? Not once did we see her actually attend to anything and she did a poor job of enforcing the no voyeur policy in that section. We had the curtain yanked back numerous times during our encounter and various people just staring. The clientele there didn't seem snobby but we noticed that many people arrived in groups and kept to themselves. We understand that there is a lot of variety in the lifestyle but this place seemed to have a lot of older and overweight couples. Very few people in our age bracket (early 30's). I honestly expected San Antonio would have a lot more to offer so we were somewhat disappointed. Our overall opinion was, this was the tamest on-premise club we have ever been to. With the fees that are being charged, this club should be a lot nicer. A city the size of San Antonio shouldn't have to settle for this place, but they do, which is a shame. Zero stars! My fiancé and I are members at the Austin location, but he purchased San Antonio tickets by mistake because the websites for the two clubs happen to appear almost identical. Realizing his mistake he emailed the owner Tom immediately to explain the situation and politely asked for a refund. Tom replied back and told us that he would not refund our money and was covered by a "no refund" clause in fine print. Wow! So much for customer service. We tried calling our bank, but after investigating, they said they couldn't help due to the "no refund" clause. My fiancé then called Tom and politely explained to him how he knows he was the one in the wrong, but asked to please refund the money as the New Year had past, and the party reservations were never used. Tom said it wasn't his problem that people like us don't pay attention. He went on to say that any other business wouldn't do a refund. Sorry, Tom I beg to differ! I have never had a problem returning a pair of shoes that I purchased and then realized weren't the right color. Yes, you have a business to run but you should value your long term reputation by exercising good moral judgement. My fiancé told him that he felt the reason why he would not refund his money was because of some personal vendetta with the Austin location. Tom was initially offended by that, but then admitted that he was upset the Austin Players club copied their website almost word for word and color for color. My fiancé once again asked him to please just do the right thing and Tom hung up on him. I was super angry that he was acting this way when my fiancé was so nice and pretty much at his mercy. During their conversation I could hear the unexplainable anger in Tom's voice when my fiancé was calm and way too nice to him. I then called him back and told him how he was not doing the right thing. Tom wouldn't even let me speak a word, and screamed at me that if we ever called back he would block my number.... What?!!! Seriously, Tom you took our money and now want to block my number? You have lost so much more than we have lost here. Good luck trying to keep a business going acting this way. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Now I know why everyone drives from far south Texas passing by your location to get to the Austin location. Came in from out of town. Visit TMZ in Houston. Weren't sure what to expect since the reviews are dated. Staff was friendly and willing to answer questions. General dance area is industrial looking but has its own appeal. The play areas are a little small but a lot of fun. Lots of choices for finding your niche. While not a huge crowd there were enough to be semi full. Good range of people and all were friendly. There were several attractive couples. Visited this past Saturday and sadly we were disappointed. Upon entering, the staff is friendly and reasonably helpful as this was our first visit. We frequent swingers clubs in many parts of the US and looked forward to visiting San Antonio. We arrived about 10:15 and it was quite busy inside, maybe 100 people. Most tables were filled, but we found one toward the back near the "VIP area" We got some ice for our drinks from the friendly bar staff who told us the rules. No sexual activity anywhere but in the back. Stay out of the VIP areas as they are an additional fee.(curtained tables right above the regular area no one used anyway) Smoking on the left side, no smoking to the right. (worked OK) Overall, there were the usual "clique" groups that are unwelcoming and only stay among themselves, never dancing or anything except drinking and being loud. (we find this group exists in most clubs sadly). But as we often say "make your own fun, don't wait to be entertained". And we wanted to, except the DJ had his own agenda and playlist that no one was responding to. So my wife heads up and asks him for some dance music like Pit Bull or Bruno Mars and he responds. Literally in seconds there are 20 people on the dance floor and this goes on a good 40 minutes. Then come the line dancers to "Wabble" and then slow country music that cleared the floor this early in the night. After that all seemed different. A good song would be played but then back to his agenda tunes. What a waste of a crowd that wanted to dance. So midnight came and we ventured into the play area. There were maybe 12-14 people already involved in the "private rooms" and one in the more public area near the "voyeur room. All was well maintained and clean. There were plenty of towels and 2 female attendants overseeing things. Unfortunately there were more rules. No one could watch other couples except in the open area by the voyeur room. No one in those rooms cared, but they insisted. This makes sense maybe when there are single guys there on Fridays, but not for couples. This just eliminates any chance of getting close to new people unless you happen to meet outside. We had a fun time anyway and decided to go back outside when we were done and the DJ had taken a new turn. Country music only and now no one was listening. (and this is Texas). So after 3-4 real bad song choices, we moseyed on out, not likely to return. read more

Went to the club a few weeks ago with my girlfriend. Awesome experience. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. The night started off slow but then some couples came and introduced themselves and then gave us a tour of the club. BYOB and that was awesome also. We spent less money at this club than we would have at any regular club. Music was awesome and the playtime was even better. This was our first time to a club like this and our first experience with the lifestyle. We were super nervous but everyone from the valet guy to the bartender to the manager (who gave us the tour) to the patrons were happy to help, answer our questions, make sure we were comfortable, and not feel like the newbies. We were greeted by a super welcoming lady in the front who took care of our immediate needs and got us set up with a single night pass. Having never been to a place like this, we had nothing to compare the $70 fee to. After we were given our pass we took our BYOB selections to the bar. They had a full set up and the bartender (also very nice) gave us an ice bucket and some glasses. After that we were introduced to the manager Don, who was so very nice and helpful. He gave us a tour and walked us to and through the different play areas and sections of the club. He was thorough, asked us questions to gauge where our comfort levels were and went through all the clubs rules and even offered up a,little information about how he and others pass their evening. It gave us,a better feel and idea for the runnings of the night. He left us after that and we found an empty table for the night. We weren't sure what to expect our first night but what we did see was a clean club, an active dance floor and lots of friendly people. The shadow boxes and dance cages were a fun added and we were hoping to see them utilized more.There was a glow party that night so the atmosphere was super fun. There was no creep factor and we immediately felt comfortable with the random nudity and occasionally sexual display. Lots of laughter and positive vibes. We were pretty much left alone but we're approached by one couple who were happy to just let us people watch. Toward the end of the night we ended up in the voyeur area to watch. We ultimately chose to participate and felt very comfortable with those watching through the glass. After we cleaned up (you do your own and the attendant follows behind) then left. The manager found us on our way out and seemed genuinely interested in whether or not we had fun and if we were coming back. We opted out of the annual pass bc we only make it to the area once a year but decided the regular fee would be worth it should we be able to make it down again. We would visit again. read more
