You will buy one (a crepe of course!) and then you will come across Square Jean XXIII. Square Jean XXIII is located right before the Notre-Dame cathedral. It is a local park filled with dust, not grass, free (shitty) wi-fi, a few play structures for kids, lots of space, benches, and a great view of Notre-Dame. It's a simple and wonderful public space. I encourage you to sit and take a breather here. Enjoy the moment as there won't be much room to breathe once you get to Notre-Dame, much less as you huff and puff up the towers. For a little fun, take a spin on the round disc. You won't regret it. C'est un espace public simple et merveilleux. Je vous invite à s'asseoir et prendre une pause ici. Profitez de l'instant comme il n'y aura pas beaucoup de place pour respirer une fois que vous arrivez à Notre-Dame, et encore moins comme vous souffler comme un bœuf dans les tours. Pour s'amuser un peu, faire un tour sur le disque rond. Vous ne le regretterez pas. Juste attendre 15 minutes pour que crêpe à régler.

The lines were rides were all short, so my husband and son were able to do many rides with their unlimited wristbands. I paid the lower rate to just go into the park, but not do rides (nice option to have). The splash pad was very busy on the day we went, but our son was still able to partake and enjoyed it. Overall, I'd highly recommend!

Tourist usually call the Napoleon Tomb and the Espalanade des invalides interchangeably. The park is huge. Yes you have to go through security and the armed guard before getting to the park. Also note that the Army Museum is also located behind the Esplanade des Invalides. I didn't spend too much time at this park. I was more interested in the Tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte.

Overall, I thought this aquarium was just okay. The layout was confusing, and it wasn't always clear which direction to go. There also didn't seem to be a large variety of fish. Most of the exhibits featured common fish, along with a few small sharks and stingrays. One thing they did have plenty of was jellyfish, and those displays were beautiful. The aquarium was extremely crowded, so it's possible we missed some exhibits or didn't get the full experience. Even so, I don't know that I would recommend it, especially if you've visited several larger aquariums. It wasn't a bad experience, but it didn't stand out compared to others I've been to.
