I called/ text Darla…read moreseveral times that afternoon and the next day after picking up my daughter to discuss my concerns that I had during my daughters stay. I left her messages, and she never would call or respond back. To me that is unacceptable from someone running a daycare who is supposed to care about children but can't even take the time out to discuss problems or concerns. She would rather not speak to you or have your child come back. My guess is she knows she was wrong and didn't know how to go about it. to sum things up..my daughter was so thirsty when i picked her up. Her hands were filthy, and she went ALL day without being taken to the restroom. My daughter CAN TALK very very well..and told me everything. I asked Darla when I arrived if she went to the restroom. Darla told me that she was going with a 4 year old girl there and assumed she was peeing. My daughter is potty trained but can't get on the potty w/out a stool and I assumed darla would assist her especially the 1st day. But she didn't & my daughter went all day holding it. she left it up to the 4 year old. She went all day without eating as well because she is scared of dogs and darla dogs and cried for them to be put up. My daughter also took her own blanket and pillow and doll that she needs to sleep and Darla didn't let her use that either. . And she does not make them wash there hands before eating or after going to the bathroom. My daughter was dying of thirst and the cup I brought was still full from that morning and my daughter said she didn't give her a drink. I usually do not write reviews but felt I needed to so that other parents are aware that if you do take your child there and encounter issues that she will just ignore you and not even call you back. She would just rather loose your child all together then deal with the situation in a professional manner. I've never seen a childcare provider not be interested in a parents concerns enough to even call and discuss concerns or problems.

Obvious poor management by this institution has lead to several citations from the Department of Human Services. You can look these up for yourself online. In my opinion, the leadership in this organization, the School Board, director, and the administrators, are some of the least trustworthy people I have encountered. In attempting to remedy our concerns, we were lied to, gaslit, and eventually ignored. Example: After receiving assurances on record that our tuition would be on hold until an investigation was completed on the safety of the classroom, they then tried to charge us and terminated out good standing so they would no longer have to answer our questions or bring any conclusion to our concerns. We have since learned from other parents that several children were harmed in the same manner. In my experience, this institution is more concerned about their public appearances and generating income for the church rather than providing a safe environment for children. My family plan is to stay as far away from this building and these people as possible.

The center is adorable and clean, you can tell they take great care in upkeep. I felt safe leaving my toddler and infant there every day. The Center Director ALWAYS takes the time to answer our many questions, she does a fabulous job running the school! We recommend this location to anyone looking for amazing child care.
