Had very poor customer service tonight The hotel offers transportation service to and from local restaurants.. after having dinner at a restaurant less than 2miles away we contacted hotel for pickup . Had to make 3 phone calls and waited close to 1hour to get picked up ( promised over and over driver on his way , ) Spoke to Diego hotel manager on the last call and we were informed driver was picking up other people at other restaurants. When driver picked us up , no other customers in van . In addition , when we informed driver of our lengthy wait , he stated he was never informed by the concierge. Very disappointing service and very unsafe to be standing on street waiting for a service that cannot be delivered timely or with honest communication from hotel staff . read more

I enjoy most InterContinental properties I find that the rooms are well appointed and the beds comfortable. This is also the case for this hotel. The location is a bit out of the way although it is within walking distance of the Casa Rosada and Ave de Mayo. My only disappointment was that I booked the hotel using points and as a Platinum IHG member it would be normal to be put on the executive floor, however, this was not the case with this property. They forced me to pay a surcharge for the upgrade to the executive floor. Had I known this beforehand I would have booked the Hyatt Palacio Duhau instead, which is what I will do next time around. read more

The WORST intercontinental hotel I ever stayed at, the front desk person was kind of rude when I told him my room the carpet are dingy and has a lot of stains and they over sprayed with air freshener to mask the musky odor! I asked to change to a different room and he was giving me attitude?!?! Really!?!? I asked about the shuttle to restaurants, he told me he doesn't know? (The signage is right there, obviously I don't read Spanish) Never expected such rude service from a famous chain like this!!! read more

Beautiful hotel and great staff. However, I was here a month ago and the lobby men's room was out of order and on this visit was still blocked off. The gym is very good and there is steam and sauna in the locker rooms. Again, the steam was out if order as it was a month ago. I asked a gym regular (outside memberships are available for locals) and he said it had been broken for several months. How hard is it to fix? Otherwise, a nice stay but I hope it isn't allowed to fall in further disrepair. read more

The Intercontinental Hotel located in Buenos Aires is very pretty and the staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The lobby, restaurants, and courtyard are lovely. The restaurants all have a Mediterranean theme. The guest rooms are comfortable with hardwood floors. The gym and indoor pool area is very nice for a hotel. There is a small sun deck located upstairs from the indoor pool. The Reflexology and the Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage at the Racket Club & Spa was pure heaven! A sauna afterwards was bliss. There is a wine shop, Tonel Privado, located on the lobby-level, which opens at noon, features a vast selection of Argentinean wines. The shop owner is very knowledgable and is willing to offer advice and assistance in selecting the perfect bottle of wine.
