Narrow roadways and drive ways to maneuver plus speak at the same time. Tunnels, imaginary demarcation line which separates Gibraltar and Spain.Something like several million enter each day. She explained there is no homeless population, drove us through a few tunnels and pointed out how limestone was used.

Fast check out, no issues, sure the guides who planned the trip knew to get us to Gibraltar early and get us out in early afternoon to avoid the crowds. Painless experience, so refreshing!

And it's a very nice way to spend some time here. The boardwalk is in really good shape and quite wide, so there's enough space for everybody. Even when it gets darker this place is still busy and feels safe to walk around. The views are stunning and the sunsets even more so. You won't find that many international tourists here, it's mostly locals who stroll around here, which is nice. There are numerous benches integrated in the boardwalk wall in case your legs need a rest. At the northern end there's a very small beach, ideal if your dog wants a quick dip. For the humans I'd recommend the beach at the southern end, right before the port. Also a nice spot to sit and watch the sun going down. The boardwalks runs parallel to the main street, which is busy, but still not really noisy or disturbing. It's a great thing to do when in town.

It's where Europe meets Africa and it has a bit of both worlds! Breathtaking! I am glad I had some time to spend here, on the way to Ronda. The railway station is in the middle of the city, I took a train to Ronda, but before I was able to walk its streets, explore the great market they have, see the people who inhabit this place, a mix of population, always nice and fascinating. I loved their market, rich in merchandise, smells and local flavors. The streets are cute and charming. Nice views! Algeciras is off the beaten path, but if you are in the area, check it out even for 2 hours, it is so worth it! Very unique!

It was an amazing sight, worth seeing on our journey. I thought the cargoland in my hometown of Philadelphia was crazy, but the acres and acres of warehouses and cargo containers in Algericas is stunning! The Port of Algeciras is one of the largest in Europe and the 25th largest port in the world! Lots of oil imports! They also have passenger ferries for Morocco. The nearby English territory of Gibraltar is visible from many parts of Algericas.

The Roman ruins of Baelo Claudia were well worth the 1 1/2 hour drive from Estepona. They are…read moreright on Bolonia Beach. Admission is free for EU residents and 1,50€ for non-residents. There is ample paved parking and most of where you walk also has stone or wood paths. The museum building is modern and complete with. I've restrooms and small gift shop. We spent about an hour here looking at the ruins of the basilica , the salted fish factory, the theatre, the aqueduct. Everything has multi language signs to explain what you are seeing. Weather was not the greatest. Had it been a bit warmer, we may have spent longer. However, I cannot imagine spending more than 2 hours here. Interesting 2000 year old ruins and well worth the visit.

As usual, if you look into it before going, your experience will be smoother. Great place to get on a ferry. Decent signage everywhere, no issues finding my way around and I haven't been here before.
