Do not mix it up with Mercado de Coyoacán (an actual market with cultural goods and local eats). This is an ultra high-end mall with some really cool statues and art sculptures, fancy departments stores, some nice restaurants, toy stores, clothing stores, and more. It's multi-level and semi-outdoors in some areas. Some high end stores here included Cartier and Hugo Boss. The bad: We came to this mall by accident at first because our Uber driver took us to the wrong spot. We ended up browsing it anyway before going to our actual destination. The interesting: Plaza Centro Coyoacán was the old name but they closed a few years back and are now called Mitikah.

The various restaurants found within this plaza/mall are Italianis, TGI Friday's, Sanborns Restaurant, California's Pizza Kitchen and several others. What is also good about this place is that they have a bowling alley! It's a bit pricey but the business that runs it offers other activities, pool, chess, dominoes, cards and even live music. A great place for a date, hang out with friends and it's even family friendly. Just get there as early as possible, waiting time for a lane can be long. Overall, the place is decent. During the weekends the movie theater can get pretty packed. Parking can be a bit of a hassle.

They have everything though, from clothes and shoes, to food and party. It's interesting strolling through here on a Sunday afternoon, how many people are cheleando en the small local outside Nars. I e never encountered any problems personally, although I've witnessed things go down. Some lady got her necklace ripped off, and another man was laying on the street after an altercation. The police are also a little more rough in this neighborhood. Despite the widespread rumors, I think it's more about how you carry yourself and the time of day that you come. One piece of advice would be to bring your cellphone so you can navigate your way out, the place is huge!

The main and only reason to come is the food! tacos, soups, Gorditas, cut season fruit, and michelada. You can look around for the best food stand to eat but that'll take you forever, just go with your gut and try it.
