My…read moredaughter has been attending RSG for five months now going on six months, and as of recent, she's only still attending due to the fact of lack of child care resources in the area. She is in the Pre-K class, aged 4-5. She has brought home a whopping two class assignments. TWO. In six months. The teacher's don't put an effort in, it's just a paycheck for them, and the owner "Shani" cares more about his money than the purpose of his business. My daughter attended a preschool out of state for four years that was beyond better than here. The place is a madhouse every day with no plans and structure and consistency for the children. Simply a baby mill. Don't waste your money.

However, if you find yourself unlucky enough to participate in any of their "programs" think twice- I was pregnant when I volunteered for their 'Learning Together' program and was immediately treated like an incompetent parent as well as prison inmate. Most of the participants were on the shallow end of the gene pool and required to be there by their ReachUp workers because they failed to find employment. After finding myself without the support of my family I was unfortunately homeless and applying for ReachUp as well. This program requires hours of paperwork, full of loopholes just waiting to screw the unknowing patron. My worker was required to meet with every employer I had, where she was condescending-to both me and the employer. She insinuated that I was unreliable as well as a thief at both jobs I held(she had met with me twice, and I am neither). The program is supposed to help with living and daycare costs, neither of which were ever granted. If you are young and struggling with child, turn away from these folks, you are better off on your own dear.

If you choose to do your own, there are a variety of sizes of machines available, and they use a prepaid card system rather than coins. Bring some bills, insert them in the machine and you get a card which you then swipe in the washer and try to start the machines. Betty keeps the place clean, and she's vigilant to make sure the machines are in good working condition. The Bucket of Suds is open every day from 5am thru 11pm, and the doors lock automatically at that point.
