I will preface by saying that although not vegan, I am very open to vegan meat alternatives. So when I learned plnt burger was nearby I decided it would be interesting to try. I have enjoyed vegan burger alternatives in the past, from black bean burgers to impossible and beyond. However, I have not had very satisfactory chicken alternatives, so I decided to try the chicken sandwich today. The servings are pretty large, and it was very similar to mainstream chicken sandwiches I had in the past. The servings are large and pretty calorie dense so I think it's pretty on par with other fast food. PLNT Burger was such a pleasant surprise for me. I don't really like burgers having eaten hamburgers until I went vegan but I have to admit that Plantbased burgers are much more delicious than I ever remember hamburgers being. Even so I'm not a fan, but when I went to PLNT Burger they had a, vegan chicken burger and sweet potato fries the burger was sensational and the fries were out of this world delicious it's a great place to eat. Poor customer experience all around. On two different occasions, I have been ignored during my approach. They looked at me like what do you want both times. There was no hello, no how can I help you, no thank you, and no you're welcome. The food was good, but I was starving... The sandwich and fries were not cold but barely warm and sloppily put together. The drink didn't have any ice. I ordered ahead, and gave them 15 minutes as stated on the app. The ice couldn't have melted... My experience was not representative of my experience I usually have at this Whole Foods. I surprisingly got invited to PLNT Burger friends and family grand opening weekend in Rockville, MD. The staff at PLNT Burger in Rockville was kind enough to help me order some food at the kiosk machine. I was torn between ordering the Spicy Chik N' FunGuy Sandwich or Save The Bay Fillet. Anisha went above and beyond to make sure I ordered the best option between the two sandwiches. So, I decided to order both the Spicy Chik N' FunGuy Sandwich and Save The Bay Fillet meal options based on her feedback. Yes, I was really hungry, don't judge me! I was very impressed with the quality of food and service at Rockville that I decided to visit PLNT Burger again and again to the point I've lost count, lol! At first, I was very confused where the place was and did not realize it was in the Whole Foods. After walking around aimlessly, we asked someone and found it. Unfortunately, while trying to ask the staff about the products and what is in the food or what some of the items had, they could not answer and did not know. Perhaps it was a language barrier, but disappointed because I would of ordered differently having known. They were very kind but did not know anything about the food they were serving. I wanted to know what the "crabby patty" was made of and if it was mushroom. I ordered the "spicy crispy chick'n sandwich" which was absolutely delicious and I was thoroughly impressed. Not only was it actually crispy, but it had great flavor and was super juicy and came with tomato, lettuce and pickles and was scarfed down in an instant. I also got the herbed fries which were satisfyingly crispy as well with good flavor. My friend got their burger and was slightly disappointed in it and did not end up eating the whole thing. I imagine some things are a hit or miss but my chick'n sandwich was delicious. I have gotten it twice now and both times was very happy. Lol Their funguy Chik'n burgers are definitely worth trying. The herb fries are a must. The new nuggets were a very good add! I don't love fish fillet options at "fast food" places but their Save the Bay fillet not only tastes like fish (if you like that ) but its actually good! I enjoy the spicy aioli, maple mustard, and garden herb sauce, to name a few. Along with good food, the staff is quick, efficient and kind and Ive never had any problems. I couldn't tell it wasn't meat, and the cheese they use is just like American cheese; I'm dairy-free, so that was fantastic. I knocked off a star because the patty was rather small for the price. Was excited to try it for the first time. Made a pretty large order online and went in to the store to pick it up. I was missing 3 items I had ordered. I didn't realize until I had gotten home and it was too late to go back to pick up the other half of the meal. I contacted them on the app and through customer service and didn't hear back from either. I'm vegan and this was not good. I had the Double Plant Burger. I took a bite and couldn't even swallow it and spit it out. I threw it away after that first bite. It was sloppy and broke apart very easy. I went and told them at the counter but the young kids did not care. Maybe I'm just used to FRESH food. I would not go there again. Maybe non vegans might like this but I sure wouldn't recommend it to Vegans. read more

I ordered the CHEESEBURGER special online for delivery but found the whole thing so clunky that I ended up ordering just fries and paying a delivery charge for $11, it was very frustrating. I called the store and was able to reach someone who told me that there was a problem with the national coupon code and the website was gonna get fixed. He apologized and gave me the special for free which were 2 delicious cheeseburgers! I just love their food and I am so appreciative of the incredible customer service.
