Then they blocked off those dates but funny thing the unit is still available on VRBO for those dates but they jacked up the price to almost double that of my airbnb.com reservation request. Note: when I first looked the VRBO price was less than $200 a night more than airbnb.com. In my opinion they are not very honest people!!! They called me today and Carol admitted they did not respond to the request because they were not sure they would rent the unit for the advertised price. She then said it was still available for the specified dates and if I held on they could get me the correct price! I declined. FYI the following week the unit is advertised at the same price for which I tried to book. In my opinion seems like a bait and switch tactic! We also completely thought we were dealing with another company from the beginning that a friend used, who has the same name but unfortunately located further down on Mandalay...what a mistake we made. Not only did we have the lowest rating on AirBnB we've ever had (we went from being Superhosts to having a 2.5 rating in one of our apartments and all others in the 3-4 star range), many of the reviews complained that Aaron and Alyssa were rude and unhelpful. I texted them to address the fact that we weren't getting any bookings, our low ratings, the horrible photo quality they had on the site, and guest complaints. They engaged with me probably how they did with guests - rude, passing blame, and unhelpful. At one point, Aaron told us it was "not their job" to get bookings. When we started working with them, they told us to deactivate our own AirBnB listings, so that they could make all reservations go through them. Then they were supposed to pay us out. We have not gotten a single dollar and they've now removed our listings completely and refuse to pass on booking fees. The prices were all messed up on AirBnB (see our conversation below) and they said they were right on their site. We never got a single booking from their website! We've had high occupancy rates for years on AirBnB by ourselves! They never got our property back up on Booking.com as we had it set up, even after months of waiting. I tried to attach photos of our discussions for you to see for yourself but Yelp doesn't allow it, I guess. You can see them on Facebook and on Google Reviews though. I messaged Alyssa after they refused to give us our payouts and they ghosted and just never replied. 10/10 do NOT hire them, stay with them, or give them any of your trust.
