Is anyone else tired of the incredible smoke job you get when you come into this branch. I actually came in with a problem today. Instead of a definitive plan to address the problem I got all kinds of but kissing, and two attempts to sell me a credit card. But my problem not appropriately addressed. Details below. I went into the branch asking for help with a $500 duplicate charge from a store I used my atm card at. (The store charged me once as an atm, then as a credit card. So the charge went through twice). Before the desk based teller would even address the issue I came in for she wanted to know why I wasn't using their % back card. Finally, after redirecting the teller, she looked up my info and basically told me that the transaction is between me and the store, however, the dispute was in. And at the end of the day it's the store who needs to resolve the issue. I told the desk teller I contacted the store and they can only see one charged not two. So how can we resolve this? Again, she intimated it's the store who has to address it. So basically I'll be loosing my $$. Not receiving a good answer i went outside and called the store back and got a store rep on the phone who said they would speak with the bank. So I went back in the bank and told the teller the store was on the phone to address the problem. The teller then literally put her nose in the air! And said she would not speak with them and walked into the back. This is a teller who is chronically desk based and spends all her time kissing you know what trying to upsell products. How come when you go into the bank with an actual problem they won't help you. I realize this Has to get taken care of on an auditing level, however, the tellers that work there could be a little more helpful when there's an actual problem and not stop trying to upsell you perhaps we could not have yelp. They can also learn how to be polite, not the fake polite when they're trying to sell you something but the actual polite that the rest of us have to have an our jobs. Why do banks get a pass. PNC just lost my next car loan and my next mortgage application. I hope eating my $500 was worth it. read more

The customer service at most of the PNC Banks that I go to is always top notch. They really make you feel welcome and take care of you ASAP. The ATM is also conveniently located, but the parking spots outside the bank are generally taken up by folks dining at the restaurant next door. Never thought I would write a review for a bank but here we go. Henry and Ben were super helpful and helped me to open a new credit card today as well as get a new debit card issued due to damage. I felt welcomed, heard and respected during my entire time. I had many questions and both Henry and Ben had answers and solutions right away. read more

OK, yes, I'm a goofball. But I'm also a goofball with a list of "to do" a mile long. And when I'm about to leave town for 3 weeks, that list easily triples in size. So imagine my disconcertation when it was was 4:59pm on a Friday. My flight to Taiwan was to leave on Monday morning, and I needed to get cash out. Oh sure, I could have run to the bank on Saturday, but if you saw my "to do" list for Saturday, you would have realized that that was a pipe dream. No, I had to get to the bank on Friday and my lame butt wasn't able to get out at lunch. I rush up to this PNC bank, praying that I got in just under the wire. I pulled on the door and it OPENED! HUZZAH! As I frantically walked in, the bank manager laughingly told me that they were open until 6, so no worries. *whew* That's good to know. I get up to the counter...only to realize that yet again, I was about to withdrawl a large amount of cash out...and I didn't have my bank account number on me. After producing the usual 12 forms of ID, retina scan, brain wave scan and polygraph test, they took care of me. As I was making my withdrawl, I remembered the problems that I ran into at the exchange in Thailand and in Mexico. Evidently, most exchanges have issues taking US bills older then 2007. So, I asked the kindly (if slightly mocking) teller, if he wouldn't mind finding me new bills for my withdrawl. He gave me the "are you kidding me?!?" look, but gamely went through every drawer in the facility (and at one point even had to go back in to the vault to find the last few bills), to get me what I needed. YAY! Through it all, the folks here were funny, nice and helped me out. And I totally love that they are open until 6! I never understood why businesses would close right when most offices were letting out. Brilliant! And yay! read more

Although I am greeted warmly upon entering each time something is amiss when it comes to follow through. In planning a family vacation I went to the branch to order Euros over 2 weeks ahead per their requirement. I was assured on Saturday that order would be placed on Monday and it takes 5 business days to receive them. I would receive a call, sadly no call was received the first week When I did call after 10 days my account had been charged the first week but no Euros were there???? How can that be? It is a mystery to me where my Euros are presently. The best recommendation was for me NOW 3 days before my trip to go to Montgomery Mall as they have Euros. I informed them I did not have time to go to the Mall now as I was counting on them to deliver Euros. VERY DISAPPOINTED that someone dropped the ball or ? Hope they figure it out. read more

Everyone I encountered during my first visit was very pleasant. I was greeted at the entrance and the bank teller was friendly.

I am an long-time customer of PNC Bank, from the years I lived in Pittsburgh, where I always had personal service and never had a problem. But now I'm fed up. I spent hours today trying to do a bank transfer, not very complicated but (1) not allowed online (due to very severe limits of amount), (2) not allowed by phone (due to no transfer agreement in their files, whatever that means), and (3) not done locally because the one banker (out of 5 people there) was too busy, so I had to drive to another town to get it done. Tonight, I realized I needed to make another transfer, and tried it online but the transfer was frozen with a message that I had to call a number to lift the hold. I tried to call but (of course!) not during business hours so not available for two more days. I have made transfers at other banks and it's not a big deal I"m going to change my bank, and hope I can find one that has put enough resources into customer service. read more

The best customer service! I've been a PNC customer for 10 years and this PNC has the nicest staff. nobody has a chip on their shoulder. the manager is always up front to greet you and knows your name after the second visit. Out of all the branches in moco I have visited, this is the best. yes the parking can be hit or miss but it is worth the service. read more

I am through the roof with PNC. Been a long time customer and it's really upsetting how this had to end. I had been getting charged a service fee back in August and went to the branch and thought that was taken care of because they downgraded my account and should not be charged anymore unless I do paper statement which should be $2 fee a month. (I don't check my statements often) few days ago, I checked my statement and It looked like I was still getting charged 3 months later at $10 each month. I was really upset. I called the call center and they said It was a different service charge that I NEVER signed up for. This time I decided to go close the business account because I was fed up that I'm getting charged for something I never signed up for and thought that I should be able to TRUST my bank when they said they were going to fix something NOT add another service fee for a service I don't use. Getting this resolved was also a whirlwind; getting transfer and letting them tell you that you have to call the person in charge of your business account to get the last service fee given back to me... and of course.. when you call them they do not pick up the phone because they are one person. To top EVERYTHING off, I actually went to the giant in montrose to close the account and was very polite and helpful. But the next day I decided to close business account all together and need to get the cashier check reverse back to my actual name instead of business name so I can deposit elsewhere. I came to this bank and the assistant manager and manger said they couldn't help me and I had to go back to montrose crossing where they helped me the night prior which is crazy because I should be able to go to ANY PNC BANK to get something taken care of. Good thing It wasn't across town and only near by but because I worked right by this bank It was much more convenient for me and also had my 3 year old in tow. I went back to montrose and they called the call center and they said I should be able to go to any bank to get It reverse back to my name and NOT have to go to the same branch where I closed my account at. I went to a few banks when I moved to town, they were actually all pretty rude. At PNC Georgia was VERY NICE and for the last 2 months has helped me and my business any time I needed it. I highly recommend PNC because of Georgia, and Armando is awesome with personal bank accounts. All the Employes seem friendly and helpful...... read more

The customer service is superb at this PNC branch. They've always met to my needs and concerns, as well as elaborating on what issues have occurred in my account. I'm giving this PNC two-stars because of the ATM they have outside of their branch - I would normally let it slide, but this occurrence has become quite regular and I've become tired of always having to go out of my way into the branch because of a deposit-gone-wrong at the location. I used to work as a waitress on Rockville pike and would leave work with a huge wad of cash that I felt unsafe carrying around. I normally would deposit in small increments, because I knew the ATM would get overwhelmed if I inserted too much all at once...the machine would eat the cash and I would have to come in every time it did so. I'm also a student. At the time, I did not always have the leisure of stopping by at this branch whenever I wanted to, so this posed a huge inconvenience. Patrick was awesome at resolving the issue, but the ATM issues still occur which is extremely frustrating on my part. This has also happened at another branch further down on the pike. As a customer, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but every time it happens I tend to lose some of that trust. I hope they get the issue resolved sooner than later. read more
