The check was dated 6/19, the borough did not process the check until 6/25, thus accruing a late fee. This is not the first time this has happened. Either PNC needs to allow processing less than six days or the borough needs to be more timely on their end to process payments.

I wouldn't give them 1 star. I've done business with quite a few banks in my 40 years and can say with 100% accuracy that PNC Bank is the worst bank in the business. As soon as you enter the building you are met by a woman with a clipboard asking you what you want. You tell them and they refer you to call a phone number. You call that number they gave you and it turns out to be a fax number. Then you go back and they say they can't help you and give you the right number. Only that isn't the right number either. They act like your there to rob the place. The worst customer service I've ever received from a bank and it wasn't even called "service". It's like don't come in my building you can do everything on line or by calling a phone number.
