Pocha K is such a fun spot in Santa Clara! I just went and everything was so good I'm already thinking about going back. I ordered the grape soju and it was super refreshing and easy to drink. For food, I got the kimchi & pork fried rice and it was honestly so flavorful -- perfectly spicy, savory, and really satisfying. The atmosphere is lively with great music and a fun late-night vibe, perfect for hanging out with friends or grabbing drinks and food. Service was solid even when it got busy. Definitely a place I'd come back to again if you're craving Korean food!

We just happened to be in the area so I was looking for a good dinner place on a Friday night. We ordered the soy glazed fried chicken, egg fried rice and sweet potato fries. The portion was huge for 2 people, I couldn't eat too much so my partner had to finish up. Overall, we were satisfied with the food. We came at 7pm, just one hour after they open but their tables had been filled mostly. We was the first party on the waitlist, but we waited at the door for 10-15 minutes to be seated. I love their interior decoration, pretty unique vibe. However, I did not expect the noise could be at disturbing level (not to blame the store itself, I didn't research enough before going). So, be ware that noise from other tables can be a turn off for a date night if you are looking for a nice place to chit chat.

Our Go-To place for a late night meal. We got the Rabokgi, the Spicy Tofu Soup, the Boneless chicken, and the Egg Fried Rice. The portions are pretty big for each dish, so just a warning because we thought they'd be smaller and ordered way too much! The fried chicken was really crispy and delicious, we finished it so quickly. I'm not usually a big fan of fried rice but this was slightly sweet while still being mostly salty so it was great! Would definitely get it again. We were craving a bit of Tteokbokki but the serving was huge! Rabokgi is just ramen in the middle of the tteokbokki, and it was pretty tasty. It was just too much food for us. The spicy tofu soup was good, it hit the spot. We wish the waiters would've warned us of this, as there was so much food left over because everything was bigger than expected. The place's decorations are very cute. People have idol photo cards hung up which is funny and cute.

Small but cute restaurant. Looked like the ones you see in Korean movies. We waited no more than 5 minutes and were seated. We were starving after a day of driving, shopping, waiting for our name to be called on the waitlist at another Korean restaurant that we ordered more than we could finish. Either that or their portions here were just huge! Their snack? Appetizer? Not sure what it was. It looked interesting. I almost didn't want to try it but glad I did. It reminded me of a maple glazed donut. It was yummy! We got some drinks, soy garlic boneless chicken, fries, tonkatsu, and pork belly. The tonkatsu was huge and there was ALOT! I had to ask our waitress if this was one order and she said yes. Everything was delicious! We ended up having lots of leftovers because we couldn't finish it all. But bathroom could use some work. It was too dim to my liking because I can't see what's around me or on the floor. And they were out of paper towels.

Looking back at that plate, it was honestly disgusting. Serving undercooked chicken is a serious food safety issue, and what disappointed me even more was the way the situation was handled. If you bring Korean culture and cuisine to the United States, you should also respect the customer service standards here. Acting arrogant and refusing to listen to customers is unacceptable. Today (06/29), my friend and I came here for dinner around 10:00 PM. We ordered the Soy Sauce Fried Chicken. I ate two pieces without any issues, but when I got to the third piece, I immediately noticed that the chicken had a raw smell. The inside was still pink and reddish, and the texture was chewy, which clearly indicated that it was undercooked. I called over one of the staff members (a Korean man) and explained the issue. He insisted that the chicken looked pink because it had been marinated in sauce. He also said he would bring us an extra plate of chicken. I accepted his explanation at first. However, after trying another piece from the same plate, it was obvious that the chicken was still undercooked. I showed it to him again, but he refused to acknowledge the problem and kept insisting that the chicken was fully cooked. I am absolutely certain that it was not. I then asked if I could cancel the chicken dish, but he simply said, "No." I tried my best to explain my concern, yet instead of listening, he even asked me, "Do you understand?" His attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Very disappointing. I will not be coming back.

plenty of parking outside. Wish that the entry way was more obvious with the bright lights outside the restaurant because we had to go around the building to each door that would not open. Only one bathroom for men and one bathroom for women, so could be quite the line :/ cleanish, too. Service was good. Could be quicker, but at least get provide updates on the progress of your order and also check in to see how you are doing. Got the treokboki, which was super duper yummy. However, drinks were expensive at $15 per soju bottle. Cute little Christmas light decorations all over the restaurant with orange tinge, so it fit the late night vibe. Thank you to the service for helping us with the dropped shot glass and not making us feel even worse than Austin and I did when we geardthe crash on the floor :(

Love the atmosphere the minute we walked in. Definitely a good place for late night drinks/food or after work destresser. We tried a lot of things and were shocked how big the portion sizes were! We probably would have ordered half the amount if we knew. All the food was delicious, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Favorites were the tteokbokki and the pork belly. But you really cant go wrong with anything here!!!

Hands down my favorite spot for late night Korean eats! There was a bit of a wait when we arrived on a Saturday at 10:30 PM, but it wasn't too bad. Servers are all super friendly and helpful. My favorite thing to get is their rabokki! The texture of the tteok is perfectly chewy. I love how saucy it is, though the cheese can be kind of overwhelming after a few bites. Next time I think I would try it without the cheese. The pocha fries also impressed me! The presentation looks a little crazy, but the combo of the hot cheetos, spicy mayo sauce, and fries worked so well together. My group also loved the fluffy steamed egg and the nice hint of sesame oil on it. We were sat outside, but they had plenty of heaters to keep us warm. We loved the fun vibes of the pocha, and would definitely come back here on a night out!

[Food] - Soy Garlic Boneless Chicken ($22.50): I've had a good amount of Korean fried chicken and I must say this is the most flavorful soy garlic chicken I've had. For me it is a bit overpowering, but I know lots of people love this - Kimchi & Pork Fried Rice ($14): Delicious! Kimchi had a nice acidity and pork belly was cooked nicely. - Corn Cheese ($11): Always a good dish to share. I just wish this came with a warmer that keeps this warm during the meal since the cheese solidifies pretty fast. [Service] - Fast, attentive, friendly [Ambiance] - Has indoor and outdoor seating - Gets pretty packed during the later hours as it's where all the youngins go [Overall] - Would come back again especially since they open late with good eats!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I used to go at least 3 times a week with different friends. The portions are big and price is really reasonable. Their marinated pork belly is delicious and the fish cake soup makes a great hang over soup. Service is always top notch although parking is pretty tricky but it's a great place to drink and hang over with friends late at night.

My daughter chose this place for dinner after her graduation. I highly recommend the soy glazed chicken strips. They were sweet and savory, nice and crunchy, good flavor over all. The only downside is the limited parking. The lot is small and there is not alot of options outside of that.

Came here on a Thursday night around 8 pm and we got seated immediately. Lots of indoor seating but can get busier when it's later. Cute decorations inside as well! The Kimchi Fried Rice was a great addition alongside the Soy Garlic Wings! The Garlic Wings were very flavorful and yummy and juicy! I rate them a 9/10, the kimchi fried rice was also delicious 9/10! Would definitely come back here!

    Egg. So, so good.

We got the lettuce wrap (aka leaves) glad we got it because it made it feel healthier. banchan: came with: square little rice paper wraps (not as healthy as lettuce but something), kim chee, sprouts, marinated onions with peppers (spicy! but I'm a wimp, any spice is too much for me), jap chae I didn't like the self-order on tablet. (at least it wasn't order off phone, I really hate that) at other restaurants if you order enough, they "service you" free steamed egg. Here I had to buy it myself. negative, there was a dripping pipe on the floor, and we had to point it out for them to wipe it, but then it dripped more. was that water? or grease? who knows. we had to suggest they put a towel so I didn't have to stare at it creeping towards me all night. fun korean pop music in background. cheaper feeling ambiance. definitely coming again for the food and minimal line. didn't like that tip defaulted to 20% minimum (then 23%, 28%) but at least they calculate that pre-tax.

It was actually the perfect group to test it. One of us had marinated crab in Boston and loved it, another tried it in Busan and wasn't a fan, and I was a complete first timer. We ordered the Soy Sauce Marinated Raw Crab, Beef Short Rib Soup, and the summer special Hwe Naengmyeon (Spicy Cold Raw Fish Mixed Noodle). The restaurant is spacious, and seeing that most of the customers were Korean definitely gave us high expectations. Service was friendly and our food came out in about 10-15 minutes. The raw crab came with a bowl of rice, quail egg, fish roe, roasted seaweed, seaweed salad, and pickled daikon. My friend mixed everything together for us like a pro. Soy marinade was well balanced, the crab had a soft, jelly-like texture and tasted really fresh, not gimmicky at all. My friend who didn't enjoy this dish in Korea actually ended up liking this version, and my other friend even said it was better than the one she had in Boston. As for me, I really enjoyed trying it for the first time. That said, it's definitely an acquired taste and probably not for everyone. If you're not ready to eat raw crab, I'd actually recommend trying the soy marinade with soft tofu or boiled eggs first because the sauce itself is delicious. The Beef Short Rib Soup came with tender meat, but the broth was just okay. Not bad, just not something I'd order again. The Hwe Naengmyeon, on the other hand, was really refreshing. It definitely had a spicy kick, the noodles were soft yet chewy, and the raw fish had such a unique texture that I honestly don't know how to describe it. Served cold with fresh veggies and half a boiled egg, it was perfect for a hot day. Also, banchan were delicious and free refill, our favorite was the Konjac noodle mayo salad and Gyeran Mari (Korean Egg Roll). Overall, I'm glad I finally got to try soy marinated raw crab, and I can definitely see myself ordering it again. Such a fun first experience, and I'll be back to explore more of the menu.

The bossam took a while to come out, and by then we were already pretty full off of the pancake, soup and bibimbap. Service sizes are generous, and this definitely would've been enough for 4+ people to share. There was a great assortment of different banchan - my favorite is the jelly! The pancake was nice and crispy, with a good amount of seafood, the bibimbap had a great amount of crispy rice at the bottom and the tofu soup was comforting and exactly what we were looking for. The bossam had a lot of meat - I kind of wished there was more radish and napa to go with the meat, but it was tender, not too fatty, and satisfying. We had plenty of leftovers to take home. Jang su jang is still a classic staple, and has a delicious offering for almost any korean craving you could want. By the time we were done with our second item, we asked them to just not bring out the third item in our combo because it was clear they hadn't even begun to prepare it because they forgot again. Despite only receiving two of the three items in our combo over the span of our two hours, they still charged us the full $73 for the combo. Additionally, they kept bringing out the wrong items and also brought out things twice when we had already received it. Food overall was undeniably bad for how it was priced. The quality of the pork in the katsu was extremely tough and stringy, not to mention how it was absolutely drowned in sauce. Kimchi fried rice was wet, as it was drowned in sauce and oil, barely fried. Chicken wings were also drenched in oil and sauce, and it was soggy, rubbery, and overall terrible. In conclusion, don't waste your time or money here. This was my second time at this establishment, and both times were atrocious.
