My partner and I just moved to PA. We only had one key to the house and while to trying to rush to work we ended up leaving the key in the house. We simply called to gain access to our property and ended replacing locks on all of our doors. The fact that he was able and willing to do more then we originally asked of him when we called was a relief. We also asked about other services that we needed to feel secure in our home and he did a complete walkthrough of the house to thoroughly explain how he could assist. Chris was quick to schedule an appointment and arrived on time. I bought my house 4 years ago and was not given a key to my front door. As the lock is very old, I wanted to be able to keep it. Chris informed me that although the lock is no longer produced (he took a picture for his archives) he should be able to switch out the lockset cylinder. He was also able to successfully rekey it to match my backdoor smart key. He then drilled a larger hole in the door jam so the door and lock would open/unlock and close/lock more easily. While he was changing out the lock, I was reading others reviews and noticed that he had rekeyed a car door lock. I mentioned that I was not given a code when I purchased my used car 3 years ago (noticing a pattern here) and he was able to rekey it as well without coming out on a second service call. I am especially appreciative that he took the time to walk me through how to use the new front door lock and the new code for my car lock. I live in Mexico but I have a home in Bushkill. I had friends who asked to use the house over the weekend - and we said sure. They got to the house and the automatic lock battery was dead and the key that we kept in reserve for emergencies did not work. Our friends had four kids with them - two of them under the age of 3. It was the end of January and it was cold. I called Pocono Locksmith in a panic. They were there in 30 minutes (as they told me they would be but I didn't believe that was even possible as we live up in the top of Saw Creek and it practically takes 20 minutes to get there from 209. They replaced the battery on the electronic lock and made two hard keys on site just in case the lock died. WOW! They were amazing and saved me much agony. What a relief! We have been struggling with an old door lock for years. Long ago, another locksmith had told us it couldn't be fixed and it was expensive and difficult to replace in the door we have. (We like this old door!) Finally, we needed to address the monster and called a few locksmiths. The only one who returned my call was Chris at Pocono Locksmiths. He came, he saw and he fixed!!!
