A relatively young crowd - early twenties. Pijalnia could take the prize for best bar food. The drink selection ranges from polish beers to various shots - all for $1 euro. Food includes soups, cream cheese+bagels, and steak tartare on rye, all for $2 euros. These were 3 of the very popular dishes. A must go!

I loved the concept! I'd love this place in Chicago. Open all the time and cheap. The decor is…read morealso awesome and styled after the Communist era. Went to this location at the beginning of the night and to the Kazimierz location toward the end of it, or somewhere in the middle...it was definitely a long, epic night in Krakow. We did not try the food but I know I'd like it. Simple Polish standards that go well with drinking. All the food is 8 zl and all the drinks are 4 zl. We had shots only. Plain vodka, Vibovit, Polo-cocta, and Borewicz. The shots were very sweet so we finished washing them down with just plain vodka. All the vodka was perfectly chilled. That was not the case at the Kazimierz location where they were warmer. Warm vodka is not good vodka, blah. The idea of this chain is awesome.

One flight was a good amount and I could see why one would order than more than one. We decided to play it safe and glad we did. It was a nice light buzz to share one flight. We enjoyed the following flavors in our flight: Egg (like eggnog), pear, apricot, lemon, caramel, and fig. I really enjoyed them all and do not think you could go wrong with any of the flavors. I would suggest a mix of fruity and creamy ones to get a better idea of the selection. I highly recommend a visit to the Wodka Bar. It was really fun and I would definitely revisit.

You order at the counter and then carry your own drinks to your table. The guy at the counter was super helpful getting us started This place is rather small. There were three tables and a bar that faces the wall downstairs, as well as one small table right outside the door. There is a small second story with a couple of tables and a sofa. We grabbed a spot at the bar downstairs, which was lucky. We saw them turning away several groups because there was no seating. We ended up trying these vodkas: salted caramel (omg so good), chocolate, cherry, raspberry, mango, and red currant. All of them were good! This is a really cool way to end the evening. If you come to Krakow, make time for vodka tasting--fun and yummy!!!
