When you complain Mrs Bragg quickly becomes rude and dismissive. They won't honor simple requests like classroom changes or any other suggestions, regardless of the situation. The counselors shouldn't counsel a trash can, definitely not a child. Mrs Lauchlan is pretty good at accomplishing nothing. Mr Lawrence isn't certified and he has the maturity level of a 6th grader. Bottom line: Look at the test scores compared to other private schools. The kids complain about the lunch. The co-curricular and athletic options are good. Your kid will be bullied. Your kids will receive a public school education with perks. Don't waste your money.

One thing that is really emphasized in the earlier grades is reading, which I think is helpful with all the other subjects. My kids are strong readers because of Grace. Also, the environment is great there, the teachers that we've had have been really great, and my kids have loved them. I really like the chapel services that they have too -- my kids like to come tell me what silly thing Mr. Paul did in chapel. I'd give Grace an A+!

PSMS has undergone many administrative changes during the last several years and maybe this time…read moreits for the best. The new regime places a large focus on obedience & following guidelines. That seemed to be lacking previously. This is a Title 1 school which essentialy means it is understaffed & under-funded. There is a revolving door of 1st year teachers & many Deltas, as the principal is a member of that sorority. Also a high special needs & interrelated population here. Many poor-performing academic students here, but not a bad school to work at. If you have a bright child who needs a challenge, I would not send them here as they would be surrounded by lower-achieving students. As with any institution, do your research before sending your precious child to any old school!
