    Salmon Poke Bowl
    Erica I.

Honestly a pretty alright place. Not the best poke I've ever had, but it met what I wanted: the fish was decently fresh, there was a large variety of ingredients, and the topping to rice ratio was good. The only con was that the veggies and fruits were not super ripe, and the ponzu dressing was very lacking in flavor. In terms of service though, it was extremely speedy and convenient for a quick drop in and take out. If you're craving poke and there are not many options in the area, this is a solid spot, but don't expect the best bowl of your life.

Poke Bowl is located in downtown Greensboro so know that parking may be a challenge. We circled the block twice and as I was about to give up, a spot appeared. Locked the car and we walked over to Poke Bowl. Unlike others where you point to what you want along an assembly line, Poke Bowl has colored printouts. "X" through what you want and they put it all together, calling your name when it's complete. Easy enough and when they called my name, Mrs. and I split a big bowl of fresh fish and a variety of toppings. This was very tasty and yes, ordered how I requested. Enough fish, plenty of the other things and all on a base of warm rice. Delicious. I'd do this again! [Review 54 of 2025 - 4029 in North Carolina - 23623 overall]

I'm learning how to build the right combination but I think I did pretty good this time. I chose half-and-half mixed greens and sushi rice with corn, ginger, wasabi, wonton chips, crispy, tofu and some other things I can't remember. I chose a semi spicy sauce that was really good but I think I'll try some other things next time I do like that the build your own has options, however.

I love a good poke bowl w fresh ingredients. They are very efficient w time, which is greatly appreciated to enjoy lunchtime in an hour. The place has indoor seating also, and it seems to be clean. Staff is super friendly.

This is our go to spot every time we see a show at the Steven Tanger Center. Located a block away, it is a small cozy place. You grab a pencil and then check off on the menu sheets what you want and build either a bowl or burrito your way. They occasionally have specials of the day which are always great. After you order at the counter you find a table and wait to be called. Staff is friendly and get your order ready fairly quickly. All the bowls are great, you combine what you like and how you like it so you can't go wrong.

We came to town for a performance at the Tanger Center and were looking for a more casual place to eat (not sit-down service). We parked nearby and found the restaurant, which was mostly empty on an early Friday evening. We enjoyed our poke bowls and while we were eating a group of young people came in to order boba tea. This was a good choice and I would eat here again.

Located Downtown Greensboro, I am super happy to have this place near my office. While the establishment is not fancy in appearance, you can always depend on quick service and good food. I have often grabbed a table to enjoy my poke with coworkers or it is also a great to-go option to take back to the office as it doesn't need to be eaten warm. They are also open for dinner but I have only gone for lunch. For drinks they have can sodas but also all kinds of milk and fruit teas. The menu includes have many signature poke bowls and poke burritos or you can fill out a sheet for a create your own variety. They have so many proteins, toppings, and sauces to choose from you can honestly make any poke creation you want. But I will say the create your own can add up in cost quickly, so I generally stick with the set options. My favorite is the House Classic, which has almost everything I would want in my poke bowl anyway. It comes with Ahi tuna, salmon, shrimp, yellowtail, scallions, sesame seeds, mixed green, kale, avocados, edamame, cucumber, seaweed salad, peanuts, wonton strips, masago, and house sauce. All of this with your choice of white or brown rice will run you about $15. So, it's not a super cheap lunch option, but it's healthy and delicious. The ingredients are fresh, and the poke very colorful in presentation. It has a great mix of textures from the raw fish, vegetables, and crunchies. Honestly, it's enough for two meals, but I generally eat it all and then hurt from being very full.

BYO bowl: pro tip, get crunchies, and lots of them.

What a super pleasant surprise! I was early for a meeting and late for lunch (not the worst combo) so decided to do myself a favor and searched for a quick bite. Right around the corner was Poke Bowl. I don't knock places for bland atmosphere: real talk, it reminded me of a NYC deli with seating. You fill out a quick sheet with what you want (love this) and they make you a bowl, and FAST. While I was hungry, I was nervous by the amount of food! Like, can I do this? Is this gonna be good? It looks good? And then went to town; veggies are nice and fresh, I always get my sauce on the side-the spicy Mayo was nice and mild-medium spicy, and the spicy tuna was the same heat level. Whew, no stomach weirdness for me in my meeting from too spicy of food. The fish was also fresh: no weird funk. Can I tell you I ate everything? Can you tell my meeting that it's why I was so nice? Definitely a great grab for less than $15 when I thought for sure I was gonna have a hangry meeting.

Hey family. Really quickly, I tried this out yesterday as I was in the area. I was pleasantly surprised. I've known people who've tried and I finally got around to it. I love a good poke bowl. I loved that there were so many options and everything was fresh. I really enjoyed it. I did sit in the inside as I had some time to waste. It doesn't look like much on the inside but don't let it discourage you. This was my second time having the pineapple smoothie and I loved it. They also have fruit teas and boba. If you're in the area, check it out. Really good for lunch.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. She got the tempura shrimp taco and I got a build your own bowl. My bowl had a mix of brown rice and greens, barbecued eel, cucumber, pineapple, wasabi, kimchi, fried wontons and a sweet soy sauce. We both really enjoyed everything. The ingredients were very fresh. I would have loved more eel, but it was still very satisfying. The place is very simple, but the service and food are very good!

Poke bowl is under new ownership. The food is still great and tasty but the people running the show aren't as friendly as the ones that owned it before. I missed that. Went there for dinner. There wasn't many people there so it was quiet.

Quick and easy ordering system! Great for introverts, since you fill out their sheet and select what you want and just give it to the cashier. The layout is clean and simple, few tables and chairs for a quick bite. I usually order the bowl with salmon, overall it is tasty but I've had better quality salmon at Ninja Cafe in high point. But Poke Bowl is great for its location in Greensboro, parking can be a bit tricky but there's a parking deck down the street and surrounding street parking. Good place if you want something on the healthier side with lots of customizations! Definitely try it out if you haven't.

Poke is a Hawaiian derived dish with Japanese flair. I must say they use similar items to be located in Greensboro but nothing as fresh and authentic as you would get on the island of Hawaii. I think they have done a pretty good job of capturing the idea. There are many many choices to create your bowl. There is really no nod to Hawaiian cuisine inside the resturant. However the decor is minimal with some Asian nods. Now I did NOT save the best for last. The service was almost non existent. The young man who took my order I could barely hear him. I asked a question and he didn't let me finish before he started trying to provide an answer which had nothing to do with what I asked. I don't think Poke Bowl is a 5. I would have rated at a 4 but the service needs improvement.

I went with 2 hot dogs today to get a taste of something meaty but not meat, a Carolina and an Hola Amigo. Carolina came with chili, cole slaw, onions and American cheese. Before diving in, I had an assumption that all ingredients tasted similar to their meat or dairy counterparts. I couldn't believe how tasty all of this was. Hot dogs, tasted like hot dogs. Chili and cheese the same. These were two delicious and fully loaded dogs that I'd put up with the best of them. I'm looking forward to trying their juicy looking burgers next time. I will never give up meat or dairy, but Mike's has single handedly opened my palate to vegan food. If you're vegan, this is your spot. Tender, flavorful, and balanced without feeling overly heavy. But the real differentiator here was the service.
