Build your own small poke bowl. Smells incredibly fishy. Cannot finish.
    Levi M.

I'm disappointed. A few years ago this was THE SPOT I loved to get Poke from. But sometime last year I got really bad food poisoning from here. It took a long time for me to want to try this particular location again. I went to many other Poke places over the year but avoided this locale because of my bad experience. Fast forward to today, I decided "it's time! I think it was a one off situation. I'll try again" whether or not I get food poisoning is still TBD however, this is the fishiest smelling Poke I have ever gotten and I honestly cannot even bring myself to finish it. Really disappointed in the quality, bad aftertaste, and fishy smell. Let's hope I don't get sick again.

Wow... I have had some bad poke in my life... but this? I can confidently say this is the worst poke I've ever had in my life. I have had better and fresher poke in Indiana for gods sake. I wish I had checked the reviews before walking in they make so much sense. To start... the bowl comes with the smallest scoop of rice I've ever seen in a poke bowl. The seaweed salad? That was slimier than young thug. The crab? It was faker than a sorority girls Instagram comments and drier than the Sahara desert (yes I know it's imitation crab but at least make it enjoyable or believable). They must have gotten the salmon during Black Friday that's how bad and old it tasted. I usually get tuna and salmon but the tuna was damn near brown, I'm glad I at least avoided that... Now as if this place couldn't have gotten any worse (this was my first sign to leave and not get anything which I should've listened to) it had a really weird odor.... an odor of like someone rotting away, who knows maybe it was the fish in the back. I'm never one to leave reviews but I like to see the best in everything so I will say the positives were that the server gave big scoops of fish. Oh wait... I wish he didn't because that fish was disgusting. Anyways, the server was nice and did wish me a happy new year.

    Poke and Salmon Chowder

Decent poke place, I recommend their salmon chowder! It was pretty good, first time having it. Most people just seem to do pickup or delivery, though there is indoor seating. There's a tiny parking lot and the 7/11 next to it is burned down and has graffiti on it. Employees were nice :)

Food is decent. The staff that helped me Jose and Romeo were super nice. It was my first time at this place and I will be back. One star removed because it's hard to see at night, the 7-11 next door is currently closed and there are no lights in the lot to clearly see the place. I recommend that maybe the business get some kind of lit sign to attract attention at least at night. I'm sure it will increase business. To sum it up, super fast service, super nice staff, and get more signage. I recommend this place!!!

So so very happy to find this place this afternoon. The long story being discarded I am jumping right to Poke Bar. Thankfully this location is in an area with parking. The first worker was not versed in what's what to any useful degree. But the other guy was (Jose) not only knowledgeable but very helpful on every turn as I tried to score the perfect bowl. I'm a newbie. The last attempt at a new store near my home was staffed by a young girl who said she was both a vegetarian (!?!??! Why hire such a useless person at such a place?) and only working her first week solo. That meal was less than desirable. But Jose knew the deal and offered suggestions and opinions relative to what might be worth trying vs what is a no no that shouldn't be attempted. In short, my meal was great. This chain is in the fast food grade of potential I guess, but both times (San Diego was my first) I've entered, I was beyond satisfied.

Their seared albacore....dry as hell and it looks old
    Bobby P.

First time trying this place, and with UberEats. My poke bowl arrived completely dry without any dressing / sauce. It was bizarre. The rice was also overcooked and dry...the seared albacore was all munched up into big ugly pieces and were super dry. So I called the store to complain, and the two workers I spoke to were completely clueless and unprofessional. Felt like I was talking to middle schoolers. This is a disgrace to poke bowls. Never again.

Poor costumer service. No respect or empathy. This place needs to work on their clients journey A LOT. FOR SURE I WOULD NOT COME HERE AGAIN, EVER!

Came in last night for a quick dinner. Friendly and fast customer service from the two closing employees. Wanted a few drinks that were unavailable unfortunately. The drinks we settled on were okay. Our bowl and soup on the other hand were absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend this place.

Almost like I ordered a large or something...I had it with edamame and seaweed salad on the side, with rice being a complementary side as well. The food is as good as Poke could possibly get, so I would definitely come back if I were in the area. The interior is pretty small with some seating along the wall and with around 2-3 tables outside. While I was able to find parking at the connected parking lot, I can see why it'd be a challenge as the parking lot is really small. But there is a neighborhood right next to it and a parking lot across the street so it's no worries on that end. Minimal interaction with staff but they seemed cool.

Food: My husband and I both ordered poke bowls with a mix of Hawaiian and spicy poke, along with…read moreshoyu and California roll poke. Everything tasted incredibly fresh right away, with clean flavors and a great balance of umami, savory richness, and just the right amount of spice. Each component complemented the others well, and nothing felt overly heavy or overpowering. It's easy to see why people say this is one of the most authentic poke spots in the area, the simplicity and quality really shine through. That said, personal preference-wise, I still find myself leaning toward Poke Express in Las Vegas (though to be fair, I've never been to Hawaii, so that might change one day). Price: Pricing is pretty standard for quality poke in Southern California. A regular bowl (about 1/3 lb of fish with rice and a side) typically runs around $15-17, while larger bowls can range from about $19-24 depending on portion size. Overall, expect to spend around $15-25 per person, which feels fair given the freshness and portion sizes. Ambiance: This is very much a grab‑and‑go style spot rather than a sit-down restaurant. It's located right along the street and almost always has a long line of people waiting, which tells you a lot about its popularity. Inside, there's a small bar area with a handful of high chairs, and a couple of tables outside, but seating overall is pretty limited. Not really a place to linger, more for a quick, casual bite. Service: Despite how busy it constantly is, service is efficient and straightforward. The staff keeps things moving quickly and stays organized, so even with a line, the wait doesn't feel too bad. No frills, but solid and dependable. Parking: There's a small side parking lot that can fit maybe around 10 cars, which fills up quickly during peak hours. Otherwise, you'll likely have to find street parking nearby and walk over. Not impossible, but it does take a little extra effort, especially when it's busy.

There were a couple of people before us so that gave us time to look at the menu. Our go to is the large 4 fish ($21) which was enough for my husband and I to share. The service was good and fish/toppings plentiful. The employee was patient when we asked for almost all the toppings. Love the lemon cream! The crispy onion is what keeps us coming back--a must!! The ambience is simple but clean. We ate there and could easily have a conversation. They provide iced water in a dispenser. Bathroom was clean. Parking can be tough which is a hindrance for us, but today we found a spot easily. When we left, the parking lot was bustling. We really enjoyed our poke bowl! The fish was fresh. We got salmon x2, scallops, and shrimp. For our sides, seaweed salad and crabmeat. Base was half kale/half brown rice. Almost all the toppings. We got the garlic ponzu with spicy mayo in one corner. Eel sauce was drizzled all over which I didn't prefer, but it tasted good in the end. Our tummies were happy and satisfied!

The the woman putting my bowl together was super stingy on the base. She spread out the salad so it was literally a handful of salad.
