We're so grateful we found Reid's Home Repair for our big basement refinish project - great work…read moreand great humans! Our home was built in 1913 and gut rehabbed in 2024. However, the basement was not finished, but had rough-in plumbing installed. We were looking for someone to finish the basement (4 rooms total), including adding an additional bedroom with closet and full bathroom. This included all electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall, door installation, flooring, trim, and painting. Mike was quick to respond to my original inquiry, come check out the space, and provide a quote. He was timely, friendly, and easy to collaborate with. We changed our mind a few times on final design - we appreciate how patient he was with us while we narrowed in on the final plan. The final quote was very detailed and he provided helpful information on the areas for potential cost increase (given that the home is old and there could have been unexpected things identified after work begun). This helped us set our expectations for the project. During the project, he kept us up to date on progress or concerns and kept the area very clean (ensuring very little debris made its way outside the basement into our home). He managed all of the subcontractors (electric, plumbing, carpet, etc) so we didn't need to worry about a thing. Made it super easy by having one point of contact! His work speaks for itself. There were a lot of difficult aspects of the basement to figure out (i.e. uneven walls and ceilings, tricky vents or pipes along the ceiling, water/electrical shutoffs needing to be accessible, etc), but he managed to turn the space into exactly what we were looking for. The attention to detail makes all the difference! In the end, the project took about two months (including carpet installation) and final cost was in line with the estimate. Within a month of installation multiple strands from the carpet began to appear which qualified for a full refund based off the amount of degree of involvement. Despite this, Full Circle deferred the decision on whether or not to refund us to the carpet manufacturer who then promptly stated that the stranding/looping was "normal" and did not qualify for a refund or replacement. On the positive side, they also installed LVP in our basement which did bubbled up in several spots. The company was attentive and corrected the areas that were involved.

The owner was very quick to communicate, come to the worksite and help me understand the work that needed to be done as well as sensitive to my concerns. This was a relatively small job but he treated me like I was a big money customer, he personally made sure the work was done in a timely, quality manner. His work crew was courteous and did a great job. I am very pleased with the end result, the work is quality, detailed and exceeded my expectations. If it weren't for waiting for inspections and subs, the room would've been built in less than two weeks! It ended up taking less than a month and we're super pleased with the space.
