After a year of playing basketball at Gymnasio Moscardo, I can say many nice things about this…read moreplace. There are also some drawbacks. It's a massive facility with attentive, familial staff. We play in a regulation size gym with a second floor for bleachers. We have had a number of accidents, including a broken nose, and staff have been quick to get attend to medical needs. The facilities themselves are a bit dirty, especially the locker rooms. While I'm not surprised, as this is a family gym, it's uncomfortable when you want to use the showers. If there was a gym closer by with a proper basketball court, our club would have paid more for it.

It's functional--has cardio, weights, free weights equipment. I hear the classes are decent. It's lacking in cleanliness. While the staff does a decent job cleaning the equipment, soap was a new addition only recently in the bathrooms. Um what?! Even for the toilets? There are no wipes to clean the equipment or stations in between users or to clean the various yoga mats, either. And no gym towels. So it's bare bones to say the least. That said, staff is nice and probably cheapest cost you can find. So you get what you pay for!
