This is a nice place owned by a nice family (Hannah and Duc.) It's one of the first nail salon's…read morewhere I've felt genuinely welcome and comfortable. They accept walk-ins graciously and have a good system to be able to handle a larger crowd. It probably takes between 1/2 hour- 45 minutes from the time you walk in the door, based on my visits so far. When you first enter, go to the kiosk and sign in. Had to get my nails done for a wedding recently and discovered all the latest nail technology (ie powder dip yay!)...it's improved a lot since my first (and last -acrylic no!) set of nails happened 25 years ago. (I have had a mani/pedi here and there with just clear polish.). They do use the nail grinder...it is necessary to score the polish to allow paint remover to seep in and to get the old "powder" off. However, Hannah was very gentle and uses it sparingly. In the past, I limited having my nails done because - frankly- worries about contributing to human trafficking; generally toward Asian women who may or may not be forced to work against their will. Have you ever been a salon where the women rarely talk, keep their heads down, have a very flat affect and just work? They seem to be admonished if they talk at all. It's disconcerting. Although the owners can occasionally be difficult to understand, they are very sweet, happy and gracious people. They have a systematic way to do nails, so if you have trouble understanding them, they gesture or gently lift the finger they want to work on. Also, it becomes easier to understand their system as you go through the manicure. There's always a tv on for a show to watch while you're getting your nails done too. You can get a frequent customer card. The dipped nail set cost $33. Highly recommend that you pamper yourself while supporting this small family-owned business.

When the…read morefront desk told the technician she would be doing my pedicure, she visibly huffed and seemed annoyed that she had to do it. As a customer, that immediately made me feel unwelcome and embarrassed. Unfortunately, the service itself reflected that attitude. I paid $100 for this pedicure, and the quality was very poor. My feet still had visible dry skin, and it did not appear that proper callus removal or exfoliation was done. The pumice work was minimal, and overall the pedicure looked rushed and unfinished. I am not a confrontational person, so I still paid for the service because it had already been done, but I was honestly not pleased with the results at all. For the price and the way the technician reacted from the start, the experience did not match what should come with a $100 pedicure. A pedicure especially at that price should include thorough care, attention to detail, and respectful service. Instead, I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. Based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this salon to others.

The design was $20 extra for some gems that were falling off in less than 10 minutes. They soaked what I had on, off which was an extra $10 and NOT what I asked for. These nails have been continuously popping off and my final straw to write this review was today when my thumb nail popped off, along with my natural nail cause immense pain and my finger to bleed. Other nails have blood stuck underneath them. I wanted acrylics, they gave me gel x.
