Ok, guys. I have been losing my hair for two weeks after using the #Lorealeverpure trio. I wanted to make sure it wasn't another reason. I am a cancer survivor but none of my meds was the cause of my losing hair since I was on them for years, it wasn't any of my diabetic meds because I had been on them for years or the fact I had covid because it was months before it. I had called Loreal Paris and told them what their product did to my hair but " shampoos are not the cause of hair loss, I'll be sending you a link about it and coupons to some of our products" this is what their rep said to me. She wish me a good day and hang up. Another rep suggested I go to my Dr. and I did. He found a few ingredients which are damaging to your hair. My hair and scalp couldn't handle the ingredients. I recommend this for all hair types. This is an international hair salon with representation for various ethnicities. My only regret in writing this review is that it will spoil the surprise for you. :-) The process was as follows: 1. I was immediately whisked away for a oiled scalp massage. I almost fell asleep. It was heavenly. After the oil massage, she used two brushes to brush the oil throughout my hair. That felt heavenly too! 2. I was shampoo'd in a chair that lays flat while it massages my body. 3. During both the shampoo and conditioner - my head was massaged some more. Again, I could barely keep my eyes open. 4. With conditioner in my hair, I was put into a plastic shower cap, then wrapped in cellophane, and then put under dryer for 10 minutes. 5. After conditioner, I was rinsed again in massaging chair. 5. I was blow dried on high heat with a mini brush and rat tooth comb. Sounds crazy, but my hair was super straight in minutes. 6. The next step was very important. She put me under the dyer to let my scalp dry after being blow dried. Yes, she gets it. This is a very important step. 7. She flat ironed each piece straight while being careful not to straighten the ends as much as the roots. 8. I let her trim my hair. :-/. You know I hate this but it was much needed. She didn't ask - I asked her. I couldn't get a beautiful hairdo without allowing a full makeover - including my ends. 9. And lastly, she curled my hair with the steam pod by loreal. I would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself. No could hear the steam over my hair. But yet it sealed it and made it straight. Best total package hair salon experience ever! Update: I went back for the second time this weekend and it was unfortunately I left completely disappointed. The owner was not there and it seemed as if in her absence things do not run as smoothly. Feel free to read my initial review below. My first experience was great. However, Saturday was ridiculous. When I was there two weeks ago I was informed that my next visit would be 47Euro for a wash at blow dry. I confirmed this over the phone. I was so excited. I was getting my hair done in preparation for a trip. My last visit was AWESOME. This time, I left with my hair untouched. When I arrived everything was the same as before. Nice greeting etc. The receptionist asked what service I was getting and I said wash/blowdry/style. The one that is 47Euro (which is what I made the appointment for). She then began to repeatedly (more than 3 times) "strongly advise" against getting that service. She said it is better that I get the deep conditioner. I tried explain that my hair had a pre-shampoo Hot Oil and deep conditioning treatment in it, which was why my hair was in a wet bun which would be sufficient. After the 3rd time I finally just asked how much it was for the DConditioner because it didn't seem like she was letting it go. She said 15 euro and I said no thank you. She proceeded to tell me it wasn't that they were not trying to make extra money. That it was better for me. So I said, I am not prepared to pay for any extra treatments. I would just like the 47 Euro Wash/Blowdry/Style that I booked with regular conditioner if that was included. She told me to hold on. Then she came back, told me to follow her and said something in French to the Shampoo person. The Shampoo person looked at me, there was more exchange in French and she took me back out to the hallway to tell me that my service was going to be over 80 Euro. WHAT? In 5 mins we went from 47 Euro to over 80?? She said, your hair is natural at the roots. Everyone who walks in there has "natural roots" unless they just got a relaxer.. She said it would be extra work. Now, if someone had actually touched my hair, taken the time to part it to even look at the roots I may not have been as livid but this did not happen. I said, there may be some confusion because it is wet, full of Olive Oil and Conditioner. If someone would have taken me to a bowl and combed through my hair they would have known that it wasn't double the price "hard to manage". My hair is not to the point where it is going to take longer to blow dry than it did two weeks ago. It was so WILD. Ladies I just combed through my WET hair with complete ease 20 mins before. I said, I am not close to needing a relaxer. I still have a few weeks left in this cycle. She then began to tell me how often I should relax, again without asking ANY questions about my hair health, previous experience, or TOUCHING my hair. Not one person ever actually touched my hair. I asked for my belongings (they take your things when you arrive). I said, again, I am not prepared to pay for any extra services. Plus, my hair is almost in the exact same condition it was in 2 wks ago and there was no "Natural Charge". She then asked, what are you prepared to pay? Well, I thought, I expected to pay the price that was quoted to me at my appointment 2 wks ago, and again over the phone 2 days ago and again when I walked into the hair salon 5 mins ago. I simply replied 47 Euro. She handed me my jacket and I left. Salons that specialize in "black" hair need to stop acting like it is such a chore to do. It is demeaning.? Initial Review Such a fan. I am here for the summer studying abroad. I researched places extensively before I got here only to walk up to the front door of the shop I had found to find that they closed over a mnth ago. :-( However, after doing more research I found that Polished had been highly recommended by more than one blogger so I gave it a try. Loved it! Service: 1. I was done in a little over an hr. Phenomenal. 2. Received a oiled scalp massage pre-wash. OMG, WHO DOES THAT? It was awesome. 3. The Wash: The Wash bowl chair reclines and gives a full body massage. Again...what?!? The washer was great. Not to rough not to soft. It was almost like an extension of the scalp massage. 4.Cond. Treatment: I most likely would not get the deep cond. again. I like to be able to really tell a difference in the softness of my hair after a deep conditioning treatment and my is not uber silky to touch. Location: Right on the Camps Elysee. I am not sure if this is noted on the website but it is in an Arcade on the (American) 3rd Floor/2nd (French). I had no clue that it was within a building and then when I figured that out I didn't know which one and kept back tracking trying to find the address. DO NOT GO HERE!!! WORST HAIR SALON EXPERIENCE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!! I just left Polished salon, where I was for 6 HOURS, and this was by far the worst salon experience I've ever had. I went in for a simple hair trim and gloss, which should normally take an hour, max hour and a half, but I was there for a total of 6 hours because they ACCIDENTALLY BLEACHED MY HAIR!!! I was supposed to get a gloss of the same color of my hair to simply brighten it. After they applied the wrong processor my hair turned orange- and they weren't even going to say anything until I freaked out when they took off the towel. They then tried to recorrect the color back to my original color and turned my hair dark brown. I'm naturally light brown/ red headed... At that point I had been there for 4 hours so I asked politely to just get my hair trim so I could leave- the woman gave me a very simple, nothing fancy or even that good, hair trim. The haircutter then applied this mouse that made my hair look worse than it does even on my worst hair day at home, and also made it extremely dry looking and brittle. So, at this point I figured, let's get the hell out of here. After 6 HOURS MY HAIR LOOKED WORSE THAN ANY OTHER HAIR CUT/ WASH/ COLOR I'VE EVER HAD. BUT WAIT, there's more. I was then charged 200 EUROS by the owner!!! So, not only did they bleach, color incorrectly, dry-out, and destroy my hair, but they charged me the most expensive hair cut/ color I've ever had. So the good: it's a nice salon and the staff are SUPER nice and helpful. I got a decent (not great) cut. The bad: This was the most painful experience I have ever had at a salon- my scalp has scabs with pus (sorry- gross) all over, which are now flaking off in a pretty gross way. It's also the most time I have ever wasted at a salon (almost TEN HOURS). I did a cut and Brazilian straightening, which I've done 3 times before with NO problems at all (and usually takes about 5 hours). This time they burned my scalp so badly I was tearing and crying during the process (again- I've done this before and never had a problem.) The treatment they use is crazy strong- I was coughing and tearing up and felt my throat closing up and I had to run to a window to get air. I've done this a few times and never had that reaction. I really think their product is not safe. That should never happen. The next day I woke up to find huge scabs all over my head that would pus when I touched them (sorry to be graphic). For over a week now, the scabs are slowly coming off in pieces so I look like I have the craziest dandruff in the world. It's pretty terrible. Definitely the worst salon experience I have had (and I've had a few). I like the people here but I can't believe I spent 9.5 hours (wasted a full day in Paris), and really damaged my scalp, and now have really embarrassing white stuff all over my head and for all this I paid a couple hundred dollars? People make mistakes, but it was especially frustrating that the owner never apologized and then asked me to pay full price and kind of blamed me. She said my scalp was burning because I had a dry scalp. That's just not true. I've done this 3 times before always with the exact same scalp and this never happened. The real reason it was so painful is because you are NOT supposed to wash hair before putting the chemicals on. But they washed my hair- really scrubbed it- twice (!!). I made the appointment and said I wanted this treatment. But when I got there they didn't have that down. So they washed my hair. Then the owner came and said I could do the treatment. So she blew my hair dry, cut it, and then washed it AGAIN. At this point she knew my hair was washed twice and she knew that she was about to put chemicals on it. I thought it was strange but assumed they wouldn't do something to damage my hair and scalp. I was clearly wrong. Everyone here was so nice I almost didn't write this review. But I think what they did to my hair and scalp was really damaging and harmful and their product is unsafe. Find a place that will be more careful with you. read more

Polished Hair Salon did a great job with my hair. I had them remove my sew-in weave, wash, condition, cut and style my hair. Everyone was professional, skilled and polite. The salon was attractive, comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this salon. read more
