Pretty solid for a sandwich shop! We were charging our EV nearby and saw this market on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Glad that we did because it really made for a good meal once on the road. Hubby got a Club and I tried their Reuben. Both were really tasty. The young man that made the sandwich asked if we wanted fries. When we declined, he jokingly said, "yeah, these sandwiches will fill you up." He was not joking. The sandwiches got some weight to them lol. Poncha Market is a Deli/ Gas Station combo which is about 150 yards from the Tesla Chargers. We stopped here recently on our way up from Santa Fe to Breckenridge. You will need to negotiate a gravel road from the Tesla chargers, but it's well worth it. There are also some clean bathrooms available. Inside, you will find a well stocked convenience store, where we picked up some supplies. But the main attraction is Mabel's Deli. She makes killer sandwiches (see photo) and it's a must, if you stop here. read more

The Ranch Wrap is just about perfect, with chicken cheese veggies & whatever else makes it right. The service is always friendly, so I always try to plan my Tesla charging stop here. The breakfast tamales with eggs were smothered in green chile and stacked high with tomatoes, onions, black olives and jalapeños and cream cheese (all standard toppings. While I waited for my order there was a steady stream of people picking up pre-ordered sandwiches and burgers but mostly burgers, making me want to return to taste for myself. Good selection of deli items and drinks in the cold case. (Review is from earlier in the year before covid-19 was everywhere) I stopped here because I needed to get gas and oh hey, there was food I could purchase so I might as well pick up food as well. Twofer. I ordered a Reuben sandwich because I wanted something warm and I hadn't had a Reuben in years. The guy who ordered behind me also ordered a Reuben, so it was a Reuben day haha. The people within Poncha Market were friendly and lovely folks. It didn't take long for my sandwich to be ready, and they wished me luck on my journey as I traveled back home. I ate the Reuben while driving and oh wow, it was so good! I'm disappointed that I live nowhere near this market because I would drive here often to order more sandwiches. This turned out to be a little gem in the middle of nowhere.. had their veggie sandwich with cheese on their multigrain bread; it was super generously loaded with veggies and the bread was so nice and moist, unlike most other type of American bread. I have eaten here multiple times. The food is delicious! I have had a smothered breakfast burrito, the ranch wrap and veggie burger. All of them were great. You can tell they use fresh quality ingredients. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because there was a mix up with a larger order.
