Ordered some birria beef tacos to go with some loaded nachos. I believe its only outdoor seating in an enclosed patio so no worries from the sun lol. First time here and it was so good! Plenty of meat and delicious! Staff were really nice went we came to pick up. Thank you!

Tried this place via DoorDash a couple days ago and it was delicious!! I ordered 2 asada burritos, some birria and asada tacos as well, I love that they serve them on homemade tortillas, makes a huge difference on flavor. I enjoyed the consomé that comes with the birria tacos, bomb! My family really enjoyed their dinner, not tight with the protein portion either and the green salsa was just right with a good kick! My order was all correct and arrived warm, I will definitely order from here again!

For lunch I had some of the best Birria tacos to be discovered at this local spot while working in Panorama City. Small restaurant located in this plaza amongst more restaurants, storefronts and a nightclub. Seems like a nice local spot to come and hang out with family and or friends. I came by myself tho. There were 2 associates working, which whom were nothing nice and professional. Minus the language barrier, I and the cashier were still able to effectively communicate and was able to place an order without any issues. Patient and polite. Plenty of seating areas and tables to dine and eat. Great vibes and atmosphere. Big screen tv on display. The cook brought both my plate and drink out to me. Customer service was definitely on point here and above my expectations. No complaints at all. And I fasho loved my Birria tacos and Jamaica. Everything was .

So I got the thumbs up from the doctor to go ahead and order my DoorDash. I picked this place because it was happy hour and they had a deal on tacos. I end up getting for shrimp tacos and substituting it for the homemade tortillas which we're supposed to be flour, but they came out a little different so just keep in mind. The homemade tortillas are really not flour. They're more like corn. They're a little bit thick other than that this place is amazing. I spoke with kat she was so sweet and helpful in this place is great. I would recommend it. I just would change some things and maybe get the corn tortillas next time you really didn't need to add much for the flavor the flavor was amazing

I've only ordered through uber eats but everything I do, it tastes amazing. Everything is very fresh and it's the perfect amount for one person. Pretty affordable as well.

I've been going here for years. Their speciality is popular for a reason. The quesobirria tacos are the best in the valley period! They sear the tortilla perfectly. It's not soggy and it holds its shape. The birria consomé itself is something I come back for by itself. You can definitely taste the cloves. I reccomend asking for more lime. They've definitely improved a lot service wise! More than a year ago it took my and my friends more than 20-30 minutes to get our food. It was really off putting but the birria was enough to come back and I live really close. Last couple times I've gone this year and late last year they have improved to less than 15 minutes depending on the size of the order. Their baja fish and shrimp tacos taste just like the ones alongside baja california (i know since i did a roadtrip along that coast) If you like fish tacos it's a must try!! Come here please you won't be disappointed!! Your Mexican parents won't be disappointed either (mine loved it) On a side note, la plaza del valle is an open area concept. They only have outdoor seating so plan accordingly since it absorbs any weather. They have multiple murals and wall art/decor to honor mexican culture and other latino cultures in the plaza (of which I am so proud of) Parking is nice and easy in the back. Check it out!

The tacos and burritos are good. Good flavor, but please stop burning the meat. I have ordered 3 times and the 3 times the meat is burnt, specially the pastor.

The menu is quite simple, but beware that no prices are listed on the main menu, but they are on the paper menus. They accept Apple Pay/credit cards. I ordered the asada burrito and the pollo caramelo and added the grilled poblano (as recommended on Yelp!). The tortillas were the true stars -- soft, nice chew, with a buttery mouth feel (probably lard). The fillings were just ok. The inside reminded me of a Taco Bell 7 layer burrito -- a lot going on but all the flavors kinda blend together. I (incorrectly) thought the beans were refried, but they are not. Whatever is going on inside, I didn't find much structure. The burrito was the best. The caramelo was a lazily folded burrito. I read that it was like a quesadilla, but I couldn't disagree more. I would skip this next time. I spent $25 and it was a lot of food, but I wasn't impressed, especially given the hype and the fact that LA should really be the pinnacle of Mexican food. Not sure if I'll make a second trip here.

I came here for dinner on a week night and my experience here was pretty good. I had the asada and al pastor tacos with all the toppings and they were both so good and full of meat and heat. The toppings can be spicy for some, so be warned. My favorite of the two was the all pastor which was flavorful and I did like the thinly shaved meat. It was not dry at all and was fresh. I also tried the mulita with al pastor meat and that was also soso good. Cheesy, meaty, and indulgent. The additional topping section had good variety with pickled onions, cucumbers, etc. and everything seemed pretty fresh. Unfortunately, they were pretty much out of the roasted pepper and grilled onions at the time I went. To drink, I had the horchata and that was also very delicious. It was huge, sweet, and creamy. I also loved how it was not grainy at all. A good pairing with the rich foods. They also have a good amount of seating at the stand with a long table and multiple chairs. Parking is tricky since its street parking only.

I've been meaning to try the other items on their menu, but it was so good the first time that I had to order it again. The portions are *very* generous, and they had the usual sides readily available on the side: lemons, cucumbers, sliced radish, grilled onions and peppers, etc. Also had a bite of their corn quesadilla... the tortilla was soooo good. They had the masa on the side and were making the tortillas fresh and by hand. Yum. Payment: - They take Apple pay! :) Parking: - We found street parking nearby thankfully, but it might be hard to find in general due to the area. Seating: - They have seating to the left of their grill (tables, folding chairs, a tarp overhead). Depending on the time of day, sometimes the shade doesn't quite cover your face--the sun was setting and hitting us right in the eyes, so we switched sides to sit facing away from the sun once those seats were available.

Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

Tortillas hand made which that's a plus Agua fresca de pineapple tasted water down too much just tasted the water with hint of pineapple. While the shrimp itself tasted sweet, the scallop didn't taste like anything. The overall dish felt one-dimensional for the price. Ceviche de Rockot (Rockfish): More reasonable portion. Snappy texture. For a mild, sweet fish, this could have been a great canvas for creative flavors. Instead it's just lime-y like the prior dishes. While each dish looked aesthetic, they shared the same acidic flavor profile. I found myself wishing for more creativity and variety in the sauces and seasonings. The seafood quality also needs to be more consistent, especially when serving premium ingredients. Service: Order and pay at the counter, grab a table number, and the staff brings the food out. Even though there is typically a line they are quite efficient with orders and even have a parking lot/outdoor dining space in addition to their indoor space so it doesn't feel cramped. It was my first visit so I had to get a mix of their tacos and burritos with the various meats they serve. It was a nice fact to know their tortillas have some lard also so it adds a nice flavor as well. + Burrito 2.0 (asada) + Chivichanga (chicken and beef) + Tacos (chorizo, tripe, cabeza, asada) I enjoyed the burrito with asada and thought it was good portion size for the cost. The guac, cheese, and beans pair well with the meat and has a nice grill on the tortilla. The tacos were a solid size as well but I was surprised to find the tripe as my favorite because they fry it and it adds a nice crunch/texture change. The cabeza was a close second with the stewed flavors. The chivichangas were also tasty but not the traditional chimichanga I was anticipating. It's definitely on the softer side as everything mixes together and there's not much of a texture change. Worth trying if you are curious though. I ordered to go so I didn't see if they have a salsa bar but I did have to pay $.10 per to go container which would be nice if they were free. However, I liked mixing their red and green salsa with each bite. I am curious to try their avocado salsa next time.
