We got brunch in Whitefish before I said goodbye to my friends who all had earlier flights. Then I had 10 hours to kill and ended up having the best solo day starting w pottery painting here. Jessica was super kind and even offered to let me keep my suitcase and backpack at the studio so I could explore town without having to lug my stuff around. Stumptown shipped my pumpkin to me in Seattle and I received it 2.5 weeks later (they quoted 3 weeks so I got it earlier). They carefully packaged it up in many layers to ensure that it would travel safely! I am so happy with how it turned out and highly recommend checking them out when you're in Whitefish!

From the second you walk in the front door you are greeted by the lovely ladies offering to point you in the right direction. As I was looking for fabrics/panels/patterns that were unique to the area, and that I knew I could not get from home, I was looking at their selection of outdoor/wildlife panels. When the staff realized I was overwhelmed by the rows and rows of fabric choices, they brought out their "panel book" which had pictures of all their stock. organized by category- such a great idea! As I wandered through the store, picking up things along the way, the staff made sure to bring my choices back to a "waiting area" table with a "Still Shopping" sign on top so I did not have to carry everything with me and there was no rush or pressure to finish my shopping. I truly appreciated this! I noticed there was a large room in the back that was set up for classes, which I am sure are very popular. With so many craft & fabric stores going out of business or selling out to big-box stores where you lose the customer service, it was so nice to visit a store that still understands what their customers want!
