(french for omg) that really was spectacular. more than 500 actors come together for an epic…read morereenactment of french history in front of a the gorgeous saint fargeau chateau in treigny, set against an offshoot of the loire river lined with lush greenery and ancient trees. the lighting alone is mind-blowing, but the sheer vastness of it all is what really puts it over the top. this is truly a fun-for-all-ages event, and it works whether or not you speak french (or have terrible, shitty, fake french like i do). also, i totally belted out the battle hymn of the republic when the american jeeps rolled up and they related the WWII tale of storming the beaches in normandy.
