Being as I am not a local, this review is intended for the cafe only.
This very busy cafe offers a good selection for cafe da manha and almoço, with offerings such as omelettes, sandwiches, fruit and juice options, waffles, and the local favorite tapioca. Although service was a bit slow, and understandably so because of the morning rush, our food came out all together along with the drinks. We delighted over the excellent waffles with can't-go-wrong-Nutella, the omelette plate, and maracujá juice.
Our highlight was definitely the tapioca filled with coconut and condensed milk. Not overly sweet and light, it was a perfect ending for a real solid breakfast, probably the best I've had in Brazil, and definitely the best in Fortaleza thus far.
This is definitely a place worth trying, and grocery shopping too, if you want a taste of Brazilian life and it's many joyous offerings.
