We've been taking our Cockapoo here for three years and we'll be taking her for many many more years. We take her to daycare multiple times a week and she always comes back and just clonks out from a hard days play! All the staff know here and are likewise excited to see her and I've never had a single reason to suspect she is not getting the best care possible, all while staying at an great value for money. They're also just as good for the owners as the pooches, my partner and I did a Doggie First Aid course which was three hours well spent and then some, also at an incrediblly reasonable price.

At the first session, everything sounded promising. We were told the trainer would be taking two dogs at a time for a walking session each week, but this only happened once after the second lesson. It quickly became obvious that having one trainer responsible for eight dogs was far too much, and several other owners commented on this as well. By the fourth lesson, myself and three other dogs ended up with kennel cough. I fully understand that this can happen in group settings, but what I didn't expect was the complete lack of apology or concern from Dog Country Club. I had to pay another £100 for medication and a vet appointment, and still received no acknowledgment of the situation whatsoever--just a rescheduled session. When we returned, the trainer couldn't remember where we had left off (understandably), but instead of picking up where we were, we ended up repeating the same exercises all over again. I thought the lessons would progress into more advanced training, but that never happened. After completing seven sessions, I honestly feel like my dog is still the same, and I didn't see the improvement or development we were promised. What pushed me over the edge was receiving a text two days before the final lesson saying it was cancelled and replaced with a Christmas party with mixed dog breeds--and they rescheduled it without even checking whether I could attend. Even the trainer had told us in Week 1 that if your dog doesn't have solid recall or you don't feel comfortable letting them off-lead, you shouldn't attend these types of meet-ups. That's the whole reason we were in training to begin with. I told them I wasn't comfortable attending and was clearly unhappy that the final lesson was cancelled. Instead of being understanding, they simply offered two alternative dates--neither of which I could attend. Meanwhile, the owners whose dogs didn't get kennel cough received their full eight sessions, while I ended up with barely seven. I requested a refund for the final lesson since I couldn't attend a party and couldn't make the rescheduled dates. My message was ignored. I asked again--still nothing. No apology, no resolution, no refund. Overall, I cannot recommend Dog Country Club at all. Between poor communication, lack of accountability, overcrowded sessions, cancelled lessons without confirmation, and no customer care whatsoever, this experience has been incredibly disappointing. She sent myself (her daughter) and her friend in to make sure said dog was ok (never been left before in a kennel so she was nervous) after the 2 eye witnesses seen she wasn't in the right part, when sending a photo to my mum of the dog they quickly made up a "luxury" pen which didn't even look like a child had been in there 2 minutes let alone a dog. When collecting said dog the owner proceed to call someone a "cheeky cow" (which i have on voice recording of) referring to my mum or me as just hung up the phone with my mum (not realising the person in the waiting room was there to pick up said dog) The man who I think is the owner was blunt and arsey not the soft talking man seen earlier in the day when I went in for a look around. Just to add the young blonde girl I spoke to around the facility was lovely and can do a lot better than that show of a "5 star award winning" hell hole. Anyone who wants photos and recording of this is more than welcome to get in touch. UPDATE - replying to your reply on my sisters google review as you have chosen to ignore mine and DELETE it!. There was a poodle cross on the play park so how is that a member of staff taking a break? Also there was no staff even watching the poodle cross while was being shown around. Not to mention the fact 2 eye witnesses saw the dog in question in a concrete steel bar kennel area NOT in the luxury apartment area our parents booked. And as for the "agressive" girl in question being me, who by the way is 24 years old and 5 foot nothing being "aggressive of overpowering" I has a voice recording which proves otherwise when talking to the grown man of a owner! Prices are not displayed on the website, and an itemised bill and receipt are NOT given. The receptionist was not sure what they were! My dog will never spend time at this facility again. Please think twice as you must dig for any information that would be readily supplied by an excellent kennels and cattery. If your pet stays here, please, if you get one, check your bill for additional charges as I feel that I was ripped off. Don't pay by credit card!

I payed £300 upfront for 3x 2-2.5 hour lessons. 2. My dog was nervy around him, so didn't show any of her naughty behaviours. Understandably, this made training difficult. 3. The first 2 sessions he taught me nothing. Simply sat on my sofa throwing chicken at her and took us on a walk. 4. In total, these sessions were just over 3 hours long. 5. He did not turn up for the final session. No pre warning, no apologies, just didn't turn up. 6. He did not provide me with a training plan as promised. 7. He avoided all my attempts to get hold of him for two weeks. 8. When finally getting hold of him, I requested my final £100 back, as he had not come for the final session, and he refused. During this 8 minute phone conversation, Peter was SHOUTING at me, calling me all sorts of names, interrupting me when trying to talk and laughing at me. From my atrocious experience, I find Peter to be an angry, arrogant man, who is extremely unprofessional but great at doing diddly squat for peoples hard earned money. I don't doubt for a moment that Peter will comment on this review and lie through his teeth, like he did on the phone, but I promise you that the above bullet points are completely truthful.

Genuinely disappointed that he turned out to be a scam artist as I was patient with his constant cancellations and constant rescheduleing but the way he spoke to me is vile hence why a charge back done directly with my card provider as when you question him like a true con artist he turns very nasty! Very disappointed peter please guys avoid at all costs. I have txts conforming that he NEVER provided training yet when going through a claim he LIED and said he had provided training that I just hadn't followed it - GOBSMACKED that he can lie so blaitently. Will be going the legal route with him should he not leave me alone.
