They scheduled several dates with me over the following three months, and failed to show up nearly each time. I eventually got a better estimate with another company. Bark Tree and Land said they wanted to keep my business, and agreed to match the newer estimate, they also agreed to cut down two dead limbs from another tree that hangs over my property. In the end, they did not fully remove the tree, they did not remove the two dead limbs, they charged me more than they agreed, they broke my concrete steps, and I have no way of finding them to serve small claims papers. Do NOT use this company. I'm attaching an image of the tree that they claim to have removed. I'm having to hire another company to finish they job that Bark Tree and Land failed to do.

He took me and my belongings to his house, smoked dope all day and nite, that was the first red flag, I was mentioning to him that I didn't understand why other would ask me to lie and he said what about, I proceeded to tell him the lady at the animal shelter said she'd help me with dog food but told me when she asked me to lie about me giving the dog food to a raccoon I've been trying to feed that hangs out around my camp, and she knows I am not going to lie so why would she ask me what I need the dog food for. His response was to laugh at me and call me crazy. I teared up cause I haven't felt so bullied in my adult years and told him that was rude and he shouldn't call other crazy or laugh at them, he replied it's jus a saying and I said okay it's just a saying then what if I say "you're a bitch" we was driving to his job site leaving all my belongings at his house sixty miles from the job, he then said I will pack ur stuff and bring it to u. He made me wait over a week to get my clothes, medications, and forms of id. When I did get them he didn't return a few things and one of those things was a dual fast speed wall charger he'd borrowed the nite before, it's costed $22. I messaged and he said he get it to me so I told him I would be in town on a specific date and would only be able to get it on that day. I reminded him to not forget on the specific date I will be needing to get it and no text back until four days later. I waited in town for three days he know I have no place to stay on the forth I left town to go stay with my daughter since I'm also recovering from a major surgery. I've messaged and told him since he went threw all my belongings and kept things he knew I needed and also withheld wages I was going to report the situation. He looks for "people to help" as he stated, but his actions tell me he's looking for women who needs help or are homeless to take advantage of. If he wouldn't have smoked meth so much he prolly would've made better choices. I want other to know I needed the help and he jus made it as hard as he could on me knowing I'd jus had major surgery, needed a place, shower, and a friend. He uses his business to lure women saying he can help them with cash, I'm that woman that works with my hands, I don't do under jobs to keep this pg. I sure needed that ten bucks an hr he said he'd pay me but it's now been two months and still nothing, no wall charger that he claims he can afford or compensation for my work. After 20 years of Kenergy repeatedly trimming a large white pine near the easement of my side yard, it finally toppled over onto its heavy side on a calm day, no wind assist. It was 80 feet tall with 2.5' to 3' diameter trunk. Tree was there when I bought the property. Kenergy could have taken it at any time. They prefer to kill trees slowly over a 32-year period and let the home owner clean up after Kenergy gets it to fall away from the power lines. Pruden took care of that mess, and I had them take out a similar-sized or bigger tulip poplar, still standing, closer to the house while they were at it, between my breakfast and lunch times on Friday AM in mid September 2023. Huge crane, bucket truck, wood chipper, stump grinder, two dump trucks, chain saws, rakes and four men plus dynamic boss David Pruden executed the task flawlessly. I did not plant any of the problem trees in my yard. One miniature holly bush is all I take credit for. One each tulip poplar and white pine remain, both even taller than the problems just disposed of. I hope to keep them under control with the aid of Pruden Tree Service (PTS). I sent the estimator an email telling him we had chosen another company for the roof job but hasnt received his quote fir the basement. He responded that he was waiting on my decision on the roof and that Head's would pass on even quoting on the basement project. I feel this is unprofessional and vindictive. Their price on the roof was 10% higher than one of the other companies we received a quote from.
