When I called them, the rather rude lady said that they sent it back to Allstate because it was out of their abilities being a truck with 2 batteries. They did not call or text me to tell me this. When I called my warranty, they thought all was good because it was marked completed. I do not recommend this company because of the lack of communication. I understand if they are not capable of servicing my truck, but they clearly dropped the ball when they marked it completed then never bothered to call me. read more

I requested a jump start in SE Austin at my employers address. I had been working late. The car was parked out in front of the business's entrance. A DOD contractor. I was given no expectation of when to expect service to arrive. I got a text message that a person had been dispatched. I started heading to the car. I got a call but then phone did not ring, unrecognized numbers get forwarded to voice mail. I noticed the call as walking and called back. I literally was on the phone with the driver while inside this secure office space . I exited the. building and got the drivers attention. Pop a Lock while I was on the phone with the driver cancelled the service. THis was in a span of 2 minutes. I had been waiitng 45 minutes with no clue to even whether they were going to respond to the call. Then pop a lock dispatcher said that he tried called my number. I was on the phone with the driver. I may phones logs have no record a called from the dispatcher. I was in front of pop a locks driver, when he took a call from dispatch and was told to not provide service. Needed someone to come out and unlock my car for me. Called Pop A Lock because they are really well known. I am out in Lakeway. The woman on the phone basically told me we don't have anyone and pretty much did not seem to care or want my business instead of saying there is nobody around for a few hours but we'll get somebody out as soon as we can. She just said we don't have any technicians to go out to Lakeway. Don't run a business that way and you surely don't talk to customers that way like you don't care. Walked out this afternoon to run some errands and found I had a flat tire. Since I have Ford Roadside Assistance available with my Explorer, I hit the button on my app and received a message confirming an ETA for Pop-A-Lock of nearly 6 hours later. Needless to say, I called and they confirmed that someone would be at my house within 40 minutes. After over 50 minutes, I called and spoke with someone. They put me on hold and said that someone would be there within 10 minutes. So, after just about an hour, someone showed up. The first thing he asked me was if I really wanted my tire changed because that was his least favorite thing to do. He then changed the tire to the spare, using a handheld torque wrench instead of the power driver he had with him. As soon as he left, I left to go to the dealer to get a replacement tire (Yay for extended tire warranties). Once I started driving, the tire started making lots of noise and I had to "baby" the vehicle for the entire drive. I asked the dealer to check the installation and they confirmed that the tire had been barely put on and required significant tightening of all five lug nuts. Needless to say, the safety of this concerned me. I've called the local Pop-A-Lock office who's promised a return call. But pending the results of this call, I can't recommend these folks between slow service, rude roadside providers, and work performed dangerously. read more

I was told it would about 60 respond time for a flat tire, and when I called to get a update at the 48th minute, the supervisor Jason couldn't tell me anything, he had no clue, he didn't say he would called his driver or couldn't see if he was on his way, now I just got updated and now it's another 30 minutes. Canceled. Then, I get reassigned to Pop-a-Lock again. I call the company and tell them how to get to my exact location. The rep says "I don't have a lot of space for notes." ETA 37 minutes. Driver named Matias calls me late, says he can't get to my location. Then, I tell him how to get here. He calls me 13 minutes later and says, "Yeah, I can't get to your location. Streets are closed." No, they're not. "You're going to have to get a tow truck." Then, he leaves the area. "I have other customers to get to." Wait, I'm not a client? I call Pop-a-Lock again. A rep tells me that the call has been cancelled. He doesn't even provide any help. Thank you Pop-a-Lock for keeping me waiting 2 hours and not coming to my rescue. I had a low tire pressure warning light on so I checked my tire pressure with my gauge. All 4 tires were a little low because of the cold weather, so I used my air compressor to fill them to the 42 psi reading that they should be at, based on the chart on the side of my car door frame. I somehow let air out of one tire instead of putting it in, and it was almost flat. I filed a roadside assistance claim with State Farm and they sent pop-a-lock out. The guy came in an unmarked car, he carelessly swung the metal piece of the air compressor around to bring it closer to his hand and it brushed up against my brand new car door. Luckily there was no paint damage. Then he hooked up his air compressor to my tire and filled it until his gauge said 36 psi. He unhooked it and started to walk away. I said I thought the doorway chart said 42 psi, and he said it should be 36. Ok. Then I asked him to check my other 3 tires to make sure they were ok and he said he didn't have a gauge. I had one in my hand and offered it to him, but he shook his head. He walked away. I got in my car and the low tire pressure warning light is still on and specifically the front passenger side tire he just filled said it's dangerously low on air and to drive immediately to a repair shop. I do not recommend this company. Or at least this technician they hired for this job. UPDATE: My car still had a low tire pressure warning light on, so I went straight to discount tire and they said the tire that the Pop-A-Lock guy just fixed was WAY under-inflated. As soon as they added air to that tire, the warning light went away. read more
