I am so impressed and thankful right now! I will continue to use Pop-A-Lock and their Locksmith Nate in Phx! So I accidentally locked my family and I out of our house tonight on our way to dinner. My husband called around a couple places and they said that they didn't have a locksmith in our area! Bummer.... Well, not really! So we kinda started getting desperate. He finally got ahold of a locksmith in the area and was going to take 30 mins to get to us. Well my husband asked for a quote over the phone and they said they couldn't quote us until after they came. Well our lock is only a simple defiant knob. I then called Pop-A-Lock and they said no one was in the area and I told him (Bryan) our situation and wanted a quote just to get an idea so if the guy tried ripping us off. We had Deric come out & help us today & he was terrific, super friendly & a pleasure to be around! So I must admit, we (boyfriend & I) are idiots & thought our lock was broken on our door & called to have him fix it (was a Sunday afternoon, felt really bad wasting his time), but he came super fast, I mean maybe 15-20 minutes and we live on 59th ave & 101. He asked to see our keys & realized we were using the wrong ones. (Yes, I know, we are stupid). My boyfriend broke part of the lock & he broke the key he thought was for this door, when Deric figured out that one was broken, he asked if we wanted him to make another one so he could have the one he broke. He also replaced the lock that was on the door & gave us new keys for that too. Super fast & friendly. Wasn't annoyed or aggravated by our stupidly at all. Kevin came out to re-key three locks on a house we just bought. We didn't realize that a side gate for the house did not latch properly. Kevin spent an extra 45 minutes working to get the gate latch to work properly and did not charge us extra for the additional time, even though he had only expected to take 20 minutes for the job we asked him to do. Had to use them the other night. I have a problem with locking the bottom lock as soon as I walk out of the door. Went out to check the mail and oops I did it again Brittany spears. I called them at 7:30pm to have someone unlock my car, no one was there by 8, I called again and they said someone had called me and I cancelled. I never received a call from them, nor did I call and cancel. Then it took another 15 minutes for the locksmith to actually call me and confirm my address and service, and when I asked if there was any way to get a discount I was told I could get $10 off. That's it. For needing to be somewhere at 8:30pm and no one showing up til after that time, they're going to make me pay them $85? Never again will I use their services if I need a locksmith of any kind. read more
