Twice now the the chicken is overcooked or burnt. Pretty sure they are refrying wings that sit there all day. $60 in food that's terrible. Asked for a refund but they claim to not be able to do that. Food is generally fine and service i s what you expect at a fast food joint. Problem is they have major issues filling orders correctly, if you get anything for carry out check before you leave. My husband and I input the free T-Mobile offer of a chicken sandwich & 2 chicken strips on the Popeye's app. We were near this location and swung in. The app kept dropping and then wouldn't take credit card info. A message came up about delays. We were the only vehicle in line and the dining room was closed. We asked the employees for help and they said they couldn't. They were neither sympathetic or apologetic. A wasted 25 minutes! We don't live near a Popeye's, but after reading all of the stories of uncaring, inattentive and even exceptionally rude employees and horrible wait times, we won't be back. This place has a low overall rating, and the individual ratings either seem to be great or horrible, so I just had to see what is going on. Turns out it was almost spotlessly clean, with just some mud tracked in by some contractor- not the stores fault. I ordered a 3 piece tenders with coke slaw and a drink (combo). The person taking the order did not speak English as her native language so we had to go over it a couple of times to make sure she had it correct. I get that- it's hard to find people to work for fast food wages in this booming economy. So ordering is a bit tricky, while my 401K is booming. I'll take that trade. I was shocked when the bill was $9.41. Somehow the better part of a $10 bill seems like it should buy a bucket of chicken. ‍Either way, that is what I ordered, and while the service was good, and the food arrived fast, when I actually saw what I got for $10 I was even more put out. Opening the slaw and found it was half full did not help matters. The spicy tenders were good, but I had to douse them in hot sauce to get any kick. The slaw was good but skimpy. Biscuit was good too. Very good iced tea. Funny thing- the big sign outside said "the chicken sandwich is back". There was a small 8x10 sign on the door that said "no chicken sandwich for today- sorry" Overall, my experience was positive. I don't think they deserve a 1 or 2 star rating. The service here is terrible. I went through the drive thru and ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. After paying, they told me to pull around and park by the front door to wait for my food. About 10 mins later an employee came out and asked "what did you order?" And asked for my receipt so she could go in and process my order. It took a total of 25 mins from the time stamp on my receipt to then get my food. They never have food prepared and never seem to know what's going on. Truly awful. read more

Got the family red beans and rice. The cup was not full, it was mostly undercooked rice and barely enough beans to stir it up. It taste of the fake smoke flavor too strong and the rice isn't even edible. I didn't receive a receipt. The chicken is what I've been desiring for the past month! And this is about to blow my mind. I just know it! That Beautiful, Sexy, Thick Extremely Crispy Chicken Breast....laying inside spread eagle. It's got little fried delicacy tidbits just dancing on the outer edge of the breast. This breast is just how I LOVE IT...BIG and Voluptuous!! It's clean, it's tasty and everything I've been lusting after since the release! Honestly , it's so bad it actually makes you laugh. You really can't even be mad because the staff consists of children. They will likely be out of everything if you decide to order, such as the shrimp, strawberry biscuits and almost the fries... we pull up an hour and a half before closing, my boyfriend who only eats seafood tried to order the shrimp and we were told they were out.. so he got a large fry for himself, we pull up to the window. The kid tells us our price, takes the card, then opens the window back up to say " do you still want the large fry? because we don't have that many fries left. " We honestly just laughed and said it's cool, they can take them off. The whole situation was honestly just a good laugh, so thank you for that. Please just close. I got the $6.99 fill up box. Dark meat, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The chicken pieces were very small and hardly any meat! It was all fried breading that tasted like it had been fried more than once. Nasty. I took it off the bones and fed it to my dog. The potatoes were ok and the coleslaw just ok. The biscuit was small and hard. Gave it to my dog. I also got a mango lemonade and that was the only good thing. The whole meal cost me over $11.00 Not worth it. I won't eat there again. read more

Drive through only, slower than a small with a sore foot. Spent almost half an hour in line before I gave it's up. Place ain't worth it.

The worst. I've tried several times, but the last time is my last time. The wait was long, the food warm but not hot, the pieces were incredibly small, the side of red beans and rice was not even warm, and to top it all off they charged my credit card twice! It's been 1 year since my last visit at this location only bc I had a gift card. We ordered the $8.29 Two piece combo (they were out of spicy) and the $3.99 Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I asked for a breast and thigh for the combo and he repeated back "breast and thigh" on the intercom. I do enjoy Popeyes, and visited this store over weekend for the coveted chicken sandwich!! The sandwich was...well...a chicken sandwich. My preference remains a 3-piece spicy...thats how I roll. But a shout out to staff for a clean dining area (multiple uncleaned tables in fast food joints with staff folks standing around is a pet peeve)...this Popeyes was clean, floors clean, and smelled clean. Active duty military on travel looking to stop and grab a bite to eat at Popeyes. Read the door for Lobby hours and noticed that the lobby opened at 1000, I entered and was told by the I am assuming, manager that I couldn't eat inside. I asked why since the lobby hours said 1000, he said he was by himself. I said ok, you might want to put a sign up, so people stop coming to the door for nothing. He replied in a snobbish tone, "I don't have to". I have people putting in applications. His customer service was terrible. I see a lot of complaints about the wait but you should probably go elsewhere if you want food that's been sitting under a heat lamp. If I could give my meal a zero, I would. I got 3 chicken strips than contained chicken that was about 2-3 inches long x 1/2 inch wide x less tan1/4 inch thick. Basically it was all crust!!! I asked for Jambalaya and the substituted this nasty cajun rice. We won't be back! Wish we still had KFC! We we did give them another chance and they blew it. Just spent 15 minutes in the drive-thru line. We asked four 2 blackened ranch dipping sauces and 3 honey mustard. My husband repeated himself three times. We got two of each in the bag. He ordered two large drinks with our combo meal.The woman even confirmed that they were to be large drinks. She gave us two smalls.
