As a College Student it is very hard to have any money to myself especially paying for my tuition all by myself. i also spend my paychecks on oil changes or gas or tires. so i never really have money to myself. I went in today because i downloaded the app and of course me barley getting any sleep, i misunderstood the app saying i can get free food if i spend $10. The employees were the absolute sweetest. They did not judge me at all while everyone else i know in my life does judge me. I never met people so insanely sweet. I've waited several hours to write this review. Why? Because of the magnitude of the failure AND the GM's call to me just a bit ago. I went to Popeyes (I love the chicken) and ordered 2 #1 combos as you can see in the receipt below. I went thru the drive-thru which I feel like is important to this review. My son and I ordered and intended to drive off and find a place to park and eat. We realized it was almost time for him to go to work so we pulled into a parking space and started to eat. I bit into the sandwich and my mouth filled with the taste of slime and sicknIess. When I looked I found what you see below. I threw up in the parking lot. (this is important too) Immediately I took the sandwich inside and when I went to the counter the young man said "oh no, what's wrong with the chicken?" He then looked at it and called for me to have another chicken sandwich. I did not see one manager, not a single person (except this young man) apologized. Nothing!! Nobody came to look at it, nobody did NOTHING..... until GM Gerald called me at home.....AFTER I filed a complaint with corporate. GM Gerald let me know that he was there at the precise time this happened. GM Gerald let me know that no one said a word to him. GM Gerald smirked his way thru this phone call and then to top it off, GM Gerald told me he was going into the parking lot so he could see where I threw up. (I do have a pic but I'll save you that.) GM Gerald did ask if he could get me anything, I wondered for a second if a KFC (down the road from here btw) gift card could be had.....but I didn't ask. Look, if you want the risk of slimy yellow chicken, stop by. My son took the "fresh" replacement one to work. There are too many other places that serve chicken (Walmart - Kroger - KFC) for me to EVER dart foot onto this property again. Don't do it! Keep driving! You've been warned. read more

Employees are lazy ordered a 12 piece ask for half to be spicy end up with 4 spicy pieces and 8 regular instead. They just give you what they got instead of making more. The food use to be fresh now its shit! Fed it to my dog and he wouldn't even eat it. Need to teach your employees how to do simple math. Ordered my food 3 piece spicy. No one said I would have to wait. The cashier had no idea what he was doing, I waited from 7:42 pm until 8:00 pm. Several other customers ordered after me got their food and left. The manager was too busy cleaning the floor to notice what was going on. After asking for a refund the manager wanted to argue with the cashier instead of giving me a refund. It was ridiculous and he had the assistant manager give me my refund. No apology, no here's a coupon nothing. This has happened before and I will no longer go to Popeye's on Military Rd in Benton, AR. Got take out here today. Really great service! Everyone was friendly and patient. We don't go here often so patient is important. The dining area, drink area and what you can see if the kitchen was spotless. Order counter, doors and windows appeared to be clean as well. The food was good. It's fast food chicken, so don't expect home cooked taste. The Mac and cheese however is wonderful! We'll be regulars here from now on!! read more

Yeah, its Popeyes - Nothing fancy, but the service here is awesome. Popeye's is kind of known for lackluster service (in my experience) but not this location. I don't know how they're still in business, because every time I go, they give me free food. Order 3 strips, they give me 5 because they had to drop them anyway. And the food is practically always cooked fresh. If i ever have to wait, they always give me a complimentary drink for my trouble. Simple order for two. Went to get sweet tea, you guessed it, OUT. Waited over 12 minutes to get our food and only after going to the counter to check on the status. "Forgot to cook the fish" was the reason - really? Then wasn't offered any sauces. Was handed cocktail sauce containers that had cracks in them and sauce got on my hands, clothes, and counter. Shrimp and fries were COLD - guess they'd been waiting for fish to cook! Drink dispenser area was filthy, floors were nasty, tables weren't wiped off, jet manager thought it was a good idea to just sit in dining area eating and ignoring fact that customers were waiting long time for orders.
