They are trying at this location, which I appreciate. Staff was nice and courteous. There were a few new people that were working, so both ordering and the Food line were running a little slow due to the training. The manager was definitely trying to keep things running at a good pace, without rushing the new guys too much, so I really appreciated that it was patient. This location definitely needs an update. It is small with little inside sitting and can get crowded when there are people inside waiting for food. It's also a little rundown, the outside of the building needs a good power wash and paint refresh, and the inside needs a good deep clean from years of stains on the floor. Other than that, it was pretty clean inside (as clean as a busy fast food restaurant can be at lunchtime) The turn in is small and if your car needs to do a wide turn in, you need to make sure no one is coming out. read more

Received coupons in the mail and finally decided to make use of the 3-pc Chicken Tender Combo coupon. Service at the drive-thru was easy since I had reviewed the menu side on-line prior to reaching the restaurant. Young lady taking the order was pleasant and polite and directed me to pull forward, the order would be brought out. Wasn't long before my order was brought out to me by another employee. Nice service. I went through the drive-thru, did not go into restaurant so could not really comment on inside decor. Got home with the sack of food and was very pleased with my order. The Tenders were crispy coated outside and very tender and tasty. Chicken did not taste greasy, it was good. The side was red beans with rice, also a good choice, a bit spicy but not overly or distasteful. The biscuit included is a nice size, light and flaky and delicious. When I got to the drive-through, there was only one car in front of me and it moved pretty quickly and when I told him I was here for a mobile order. Pulled to the window told me my food was gonna be a minute, so I pulled to the door at the front. It probably took about eight minutes to get the food and we were on our way home. I tried their bone in and pickled garlic wings. And also the new wraps.. the wings were disgusting. The flavor wasn't terrible, but the chicken itself had a terrible bite to it. Went riding in the garbage. Now the blackened chicken wrap was OK. The chicken had a good flavor, but it had brown lettuce throughout it. The breaded chicken I got with the honey mustard and it was covered in it. So messy and gross. I won't be back to this location. Decided I wanted Popeyes for lunch, I've never felt like this much of a bother picking up food at a drive through. I ordered a chicken tender meal with the app, and when I pull up to the drive through menu, all I heard was "popeyes". So then I gave my order number and said thank you, and just heard "pull forward". At the window the drive through operator looked at me like I was ruining her day by ordering and just stared at me without saying anything. She opened the window and handed me my food and I said thank you with a smile and she just stared at me until I left. I then parked to eat, and the exact woman that took my order went into her car a parking space over from Mine and smoked a bowl, can't make it up. I get having a bad day, and who knows if she normally acts like that; but it's rude and makes me not want to come back. Food was fine, sweet tea was good! read more

We came to Popeyes to try the wings. We ordered to go at the place. It was packed, but that also should mean it will be worth it. We waited 10-15 min but was not bad. We ordered 3 types of wings and some tenders. For wings we got sweet and spicy, garlic parm and BBQ. When we got home they were still hot and crispy. They had plenty of sauce, maybe even too much. But the flavors were good and the wings were great. Decent size. You have to expect the fried chicken style so if that is not your thing you may not want. But we really enjoyed the wings. And the price is great compared to so many other places. Wings are getting so expensive. We will be back to try more flavors next time we crave wings. read more

Service is extremely slow every time I come to this Popeyes. I decided to skip the long drivethru line and order inside this time. I was able to order within 10 minutes of entry but my wait was another 20 minutes or so. I ordered two 2 piece chicken combos with fries. People came in and were annoyed at the wait time. Some left and some stayed. The restaurant looked clean inside! Customer service was average. They all seemed like they didn't want to be there lol. I took my food home and ate some of it. The flavors seemed to be lacking. My spicy chicken wing and thigh were not as spicy as I remember them to be. My biscuit was definitely not as good as it used to be. It seemed to be underbaked. The fries were good though. I was just disappointed. It's been a couple years since I've had Popeyes. There's no dirty rice and no string beans at this location either. Use to love this place now for the 3 last visits something is always wrong. I pull up today from leaving the new location in the mall bc they were closed. Placed an online order for this one on kings only to pull up and see their doors at closed and locked too. Employees just sitting there looking at you with no explanation at all. People just coming up to the door person after person. At least make a little paper sign and tape it to the door. I haven't had Popeyes in about 20 years and after the Chicken Sandwich hype I wanted to give it a shot but waited for the demand to wear down. I stopped in for Lunch with my son who was trying Popeyes for his first time ever. He ordered the Chicken Nuggets & Mac N Cheese. I ordered a Classic Chicken Sandwich. We both had a BlackBerry Cheesecake Pie. The location was okay and the establishment was mostly clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food took a few minutes to make but when dealing with Chicken I would rather wait for it being freshly made versus sitting under a heating lamp. My son loved his food. The Nuggets were good and crispy and the Mac N Cheese was very cheesy. I was pleased to see it was their own Mac N Cheese and not EasyMac heated like most places do. I thought my Classic Chicken Sandwich lived up to the hype. The Sandwich was very thick and I personally liked how Mayo was on both sides of the bread. Now the BlackBerry Cheesecake that we both had was amazing. My son immediately requested that we start eating Popeyes more often. So I think it was definitely a winning visit. read more

I have a weakness for their fried chicken and fried shrimp. It's a guilty pleasure. What can I say? I also like their mashed potatoes and gravy as well as their biscuits. My favorite things here are the fried shrimp, red beans and rice with some tartar sauce. They literally have the best tartar sauce ever, even better than my homemade. I'm not the type to do a food review on a fast food restaurant but y'all this Popeyes always, always provides consistent outstanding customer service! I'm fact, my son was looking over my shoulder when I checked into Popeyes on Yelp and he was shocked at the low star rating they got. Even he recognizes their great customer service. We have been eating here for years and the same quality employees are still here! So tonight we made 3 app orders, two were to collect the T-Mobile Tuesday rewards and one was for additional food I purchased for my family. I'm not going to lie, the app was down for more than a half-hour and extremely hard and navigate. I wasn't able to order my chicken sandwich plain so I told my son that we would get there early so I would be able to ask them to correct it. When we got into the restaurant to pick up our order it was slammed with TMobile customer after TMobile customer. There were several employees navigating the cash register area, drive-thru and food prep area but it was not chaotic at all. Janora, the manager, was calm, cool and collected and orchestrated a seamless flow of pleasant commands to her team. My son even apologized to her for the chaos and offered sympathies, where she replied that it was ok, this wasn't an issue for her or her team. I incorrectly ordered my T-Mobile reward...she corrected it and had no issue with it through all of the chaos going on in her restaurant. Janora and her team were the most professional, pleasant, customer service oriented fast food employees I have seen in this area in A LONG time!
