Missing my Classic Chicken on the sandwich Sandwich
Sean I.

I ordered the bacon cheese chicken sandwich. We got home and begin to eat and noticed there was no chicken on the sandwich Oder 2100. I called the Reaturant to let them know and no one answered the phone

Popeyes 3-piece Chicken Tenders Combo with Red Beans & Rice and Biscuit

Received coupons in the mail and finally decided to make use of the 3-pc Chicken Tender Combo coupon. Service at the drive-thru was easy since I had reviewed the menu side on-line prior to reaching the restaurant. Young lady taking the order was pleasant and polite and directed me to pull forward, the order would be brought out. Wasn't long before my order was brought out to me by another employee. Nice service. I went through the drive-thru, did not go into restaurant so could not really comment on inside decor. Got home with the sack of food and was very pleased with my order. The Tenders were crispy coated outside and very tender and tasty. Chicken did not taste greasy, it was good. The side was red beans with rice, also a good choice, a bit spicy but not overly or distasteful. The biscuit included is a nice size, light and flaky and delicious. Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen #2153 is located at 108 S. Kings Ave in Brandon. It is located south of SR 60 shortly after turning onto Kings Ave. Bottomline: Service team members professional and patient; food very good. Great choice and would recommend. Nutrition and Allergen tables provided on-line. Was not disappointed with calorie count for this meal.

You would think third times a charm but at this Popeyes, it's really not the food is always a bust and not even edible. We came in this past weekend to pick up a mobile order I placed. When I got to the drive-through, there was only one car in front of me and it moved pretty quickly and when I told him I was here for a mobile order. Pulled to the window told me my food was gonna be a minute, so I pulled to the door at the front. It probably took about eight minutes to get the food and we were on our way home. I tried their bone in and pickled garlic wings. And also the new wraps.. the wings were disgusting. The flavor wasn't terrible, but the chicken itself had a terrible bite to it. Went riding in the garbage. Now the blackened chicken wrap was OK. The chicken had a good flavor, but it had brown lettuce throughout it. The breaded chicken I got with the honey mustard and it was covered in it. So messy and gross. I won't be back to this location. I was here not too long ago for their pickle meal and it was just as disappointing as this meal.

Decided I wanted Popeyes for lunch, I've never felt like this much of a bother picking up food at a drive through. I ordered a chicken tender meal with the app, and when I pull up to the drive through menu, all I heard was "popeyes". So then I gave my order number and said thank you, and just heard "pull forward". At the window the drive through operator looked at me like I was ruining her day by ordering and just stared at me without saying anything. She opened the window and handed me my food and I said thank you with a smile and she just stared at me until I left. I then parked to eat, and the exact woman that took my order went into her car a parking space over from Mine and smoked a bowl, can't make it up. I get having a bad day, and who knows if she normally acts like that; but it's rude and makes me not want to come back. Food was fine, sweet tea was good!

Service is extremely slow every time I come to this Popeyes. I decided to skip the long drivethru line and order inside this time. I was able to order within 10 minutes of entry but my wait was another 20 minutes or so. I ordered two 2 piece chicken combos with fries. People came in and were annoyed at the wait time. Some left and some stayed. The restaurant looked clean inside! Customer service was average. They all seemed like they didn't want to be there lol. I took my food home and ate some of it. The flavors seemed to be lacking. My spicy chicken wing and thigh were not as spicy as I remember them to be. My biscuit was definitely not as good as it used to be. It seemed to be underbaked. The fries were good though. I was just disappointed. It's been a couple years since I've had Popeyes. There's no dirty rice and no string beans at this location either. The menu options have definitely changed. Overall, I was unimpressed and still left hungry.

That's a friggin bone in my tender. Could have broken a tooth!
Celena F.

Against my better judgement I revisited this store. I should have known better by now, but I really wanted some cajun rice. I found a bone in my boneless tender. A bone. In a boneless tender. Not gristle or a tiny fragment, but a bone. The tenders were stale and chewy anyhow without biting down on a hard bone. This place is disgusting. Rude, nasty, disgusting.

Some reviews complained about staff but the gentleman who greeted me was engaging and friendly and ensured we had all the items we ordered before bagging it up for me. It is definitely strictly aimed at take out or delivery which is fine with us. We ordered one of their wing combo meal type things with 50 wings (enough to last through the weekend for the family) and it allows you to pick up to 5 flavors of sauces, two large sides and dip cups - slightly pricey but wings aren't cheap these days from any place. We picked 20 lemon pepper, 10 Asian orange, 10 garlic Parmesan, 10 habanero ranch Fries and corn were the sides picked. Overall my favorites were the Asian orange and the habanero ranch / hubby like the lemon pepper and habanero ranch as well - garlic parm was just ok. We will likely order there again in the future

They do have option for your wing to be well done or not. Meaning fried longer. I got the lemon pepper and Cajun dry rub. The lemon pepper is too much lemon. However the Cajun is good balance. All wing is well done selection with crispy touching feeling. Pick up and web order is well established. Easy to use.

Great local business if you love hot chicken…read more I've been wanting to try this place out for ages, but it's so specific (only chicken!) that I usually cannot convince my family to go. But today, I decided to do a Costco run and forego their food court, and try out Crossroad Hot Chicken by myself. I ordered online before heading over. Super easy. Food was ready 5 minutes before I got there and packed up well. I got the 3 piece chicken tenders, x-hot, with a side of the greens. The tenders were more like half a chicken breast each. Huge. Very succulent chicken, not dry at all. They were crispy and very spicy. I'm part Thai. After a few bites, I was wishing that I had ordered the mac and cheese instead to help offset the spice, but I persevered. The greens were good, very smoky tasting, but they were overwhelmed by the spicy chicken, so I only recommend them if you get the mild or medium chicken. Really nice staff at the restaurant. While I got my food to go, the sitting area seemed nice and comfortable for a casual meal.

What I really liked about their app is that it is simple to use, no fuss. They don't have a huge menu but their options are easy to pick. I included some pics in my review. They have quite a few payment options, very convenient. Our 5:30pm order was ready as soon as 15min! When we arrived to pickup, parking was plentiful and the inside was clean. The back of the small restaurant is where the pickup counter is. We have our name and was out in 30seconds, wow, great fast service and with a smile. Now for the food review. The chicken meat portions on the sandwiches are huge, like 2 chicken breast. The breading and crispness was good, had flavor. The actual bun with slaw was a bit lack luster. The mild was a true mild as it should be, almost touching hot but not. My hubby's hot sandwich was also true to heat level... so we were both pretty glad about that. The Mac and cheese, so so cheesy! I do think that for $3 though I should have received a little more. I will say the flavor was a little on the light side though, but that cheesiness definitely was welcome to combat the hot chicken. I'd rate it a 4 outta 5. So for the hot chicken alone, magic answer to that first time visit question if we'd return?... maybe. If hubby is in the mood he said he'd come back. Hot chicken is not my thing but hubby gave his hot chicken sandwich a 3.5 so a good experience, slightly better than average. If you like hot chicken, definitely try this place!

Garlic Parm is a favorite along with the Cajun (OG hot plus Cajun dry rub). Some of their special flavors are good as well. Fiery lime was really good tonight. Also had a hot lemon that was really good. Have not had any issues with to go orders. Everything is still good when we get home 15-20 minutes later. Are these the absolute best, no. But you get good size wings, good value, and for us consistent flavor each time. In this area that has been hard to find. Highly recommend you give wing stop a try next time you want wings.

The chicken sandwich we got in mango habanero and if you like spicy, it's the perfect balance of a nice sweet heat. Also their ranch is really one of the best ranches I've had in a long time.

They're using a New York-built wood-fired oven with a rotating turntable, so the pizza is constantly moving while it cooks, and you can taste the difference. The cheese melts evenly, the edges get that beautiful fire-kissed char, and the whole pie has that true fire-roasted flavor. The experience inside was just as good as the food. The restaurant is extremely clean, there's a ton of space (great for families or groups), and the staff was super friendly. They took time to talk with me and shared the Brandon location opened in 2018, and that they had to complete special training/certifications to even qualify to buy and operate that oven. You can tell it's a family-run business with real pride and passion behind what they're doing. Even the pizza box is a cool touch--nice branding and attention to detail. Only small critique: I just wish The Butcher's Pizza had a little more topping coverage. Flavor was great just could've used a bit more "loaded" factor for a butcher-style pie. Overall: solid pizza, amazing crust, great people, and a clean, welcoming spot. I'll definitely be back.
