I ordered some chicken 16 pieces and the app says you get 10 pieces wings for free I spent over $31 and did not get my free wings plus the restaurant was not lighted so u can see how to turn in it was dark . The place I was scared it was not open after I placed and paid for my order and drove to the other side of town to get my food . But they was they gave me old dried up chicken don't know how long it sit until I got it. And it Evan taste old. The chicken I received was dry cause it was under the heat lamp for to long and the manager was very rude when I went through the drive thru. This is possibly my worst experience at a Popeyes. At 7 PM on a Saturday they had no chicken sandwiches. How can a Popeyes have no chicken sandwiches. Also, no Cajun fries. You'll sit in line after you place your order then once you get to the window they'll tell you what you ordered they don't have. The manager who is a guy is rude and arrogant he actually told me when I came at 6:30 one evening he couldn't serve me anything bc he had already started closing his fryers, they close at 7 I guess? Just once of the worst chicken places in our town and it's disappointing bc they have really good food when they try. Horrible place. Firstly when I ordered the 4 piece, they gave me 3? So that's my money wasted. And I also asked for spicy but they gave me REGULAR?Next they gave me fries THAT WERE NOT FRESH. Not just that but when I ordered the service was awful. I had to repeat my order like 3 times because the lady couldn't hear me. Another thing was that the drinks were overflowing. Just terrible. Why do I ever go to a Popeyes anywhere? The service is universally awful. I'm writing this in my 25th minute of my wait for a chicken sandwich combo. They said it would take 10. I have seen no other food get served this entire time. It's really pretty unbelievable how pitiful the workers are here. The one star is for the nice teenager running the register. Everything else was worthy of a negative rating. First, half of the menu boards were out and only the 8-9 combos were showing. This being our first visit to Popeyes it made it difficult to figure out what to eat. The clerk was knowledgeable and helped us here. After, we ordered 4 meals including 2 of the "chicken sandwiches are back" we went to get our drinks and the Coke was our. My daughter asked if they could fill her Coke at the drive-thru and they looked at her like she was an alien. Just before we paid the kitchen yelled that they were out of chicken filets for sandwiches and only had one sandwich. The customer before us ordered one so our order could not be filled. The clerk was informed that it would be an hour for the frozen chicken to be available. When she asked what she should do a manager looking person yelled "They can wait" the clerk's jaw dropped. We promptly left. Terribly managed restaurant. Overall poor customer service. I've been driving for about 7 hours today and decided to stop for Popeyes, that was apparently not a great idea. There was 2 people sitting down eating when I came in, no one in the drive through. So I was expecting it to be fairly quick. But I was wrong, I had to wait for a while before someone even came up to the register. They didn't have sweet tea and they took a while to get my food out (I'm assuming because they had to make the shrimp, which is fine) but they just didn't seem happy at all, like they are kids who's parents forced them to get a job... oh and the rice wasn't cooked or maybe it dried up because it's like eating small rocks. All I can say is Popeyes is one of my top favorite places. I have ate at many across the USA and this is by far the worst place. I am not one to bash, but when you have a group of individuals that does not care about their job then it starts to go downhill from there. I wish I could give this zero stars. I went within the first month of this place opening (not the first week cause I'm not a glutton for punishment) but about 3 weeks after it opened. Aside from ungodly wait times, which were expected since it was still new, they messed up an order and completely left one out. This wouldn't have been too big of a deal if I didn't have to wait another hour to get it corrected. Then, to add insult to injury, the food tasted horrible and was undercooked. Okay. So then I waited awhile and decided to give it another shot. This time when we went in the restaurant, there were maybe two people inside and only one person in the drive thru. I figured this would be a good trip. Boy were we wrong. The food tasted a little better (not that that is saying much), but again, stuff was left out of the order. There was no cocktail sauce for the two orders of shrimp and they left mashed potatoes out of my plate. I've never had this problem at other Popeyes restaurants and was saddened by these two experiences. I've been here twice, after going to Dalton on business and both times I've been very impressed. The level of customer service far exceeded fast food and even most regular restaurants. Different ladies helped me, both were wonderfully polite and courteous. Both ladies smiled at me and said "thank you"...that is so rare these days, I can't tell you how it thrilled me. I have never reviewed a restaurant until now. I went to this location to try their food. I could see everyone in the kitchen. As I waiting the manager looked at me and never said a word and walked away. I asked one of the workers if they were open and he stared at me. I asked again if they were open and he said yes. I asked if I could order something and he walked away. I waited a few minutes just thinking they were getting a cashier, but nothing. I went through the drive-thru and ordered 2 chicken sandwich meals. The sandwiches were delicious but the fries were cold and greasy. The lady that waited on us at the window had on a very nasty uniform. It may have gotten that way during her shift but it was still disgusting.
