First time here. The place was clean for a fast food joint. The staff seemed to be fairly organized and helpful. They were having some issues with a frier and my order took a long time to prepare, but they did come out and explain the problem to me. When the spicy tenders arrived, they were hot and tasty. The folks that work here are nice enough, and the food's not too bad, but twice now I've ordered the $10 sampler box and the shrimp were missing. Once is an oversight. Asked for spicy chicken and got regular. Coke machine didn't work. Asked for honey mustard and got some crazy Mardi Gras mustard sauce. Gave me macaroni when I ordered fries. First off, this is fast food. Not gourmet. Don't expect to get top shelf at fast food. Having said that...We have eaten at the Enid Popeyes location a few times now. We have tried several things on the menu. First the pros: The red beans and rice are so good. I can just that as a meal. Also we enjoy the spicy flavor chicken tenders. Love to dip them in the blackened ranch and their spicy sauce. Lastly, the employees have always been friendly and courteous. The only cons are the chicken is a little greasy but not bad and sometimes there is a wait. Granted nothing like the 30 or 35 minutes you'd wait at McDonald's but still a wait. The pros outweigh the cons and so we will def go back. read more

I love Popeyes Chicken. The Louisiana mild is delicious. Especially if it just came out of the cooker. I do wish they had a few other choices of sides. Like fried okra , cream gravy and potatoe wedges. The biscuits are awesome as long as they just came out of the oven. I like my biscuits hot. Sometimes though they are short of help, so if they get a rush it takes awhile longer to get your food. I don't know who's fault that is, but you can bet if you don't schedule enough employees to work, that will always be when you will get swamped. Food is good, hot and delicious. Wait staff is courteous. The four star comes from not getting cocktail sauce, spork, or a napkin in the bag. Hard to eat your side without a utensil and shrimp without sauce. read more

Overall, I really enjoy the food when they get my order right. I've only been their a handful of times and at least twice they have left something off my order that I still paid for. Almost every time I've gone here, they have screwed it up. Just went and they gave us rice and some weird looking sauce when we asked for mashed potatoes and gravy. I was really hoping my third try would be the "charm" but what a let down. Tenders are so small they should be called nuggets. Pretty bland and way too pricey for what you get.
