Driving through Immokalee, we stopped at Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen for their fried chicken and fried chicken sandwiches! On prior visits, we normally ordered take-out but today we are eating in! I don't expect any red-carpet treatment in a fast food restaurant. What a surprise today! The lady at the register counter treated me with a smile and pleasant greeting! We ordered two regular Chicken sandwiches, one spicy Chicken sandwich and eight pieces dark meat Manager Special fried chicken. She informed me that the Spicy Chicken Sandwich will take a few minutes longer! The fried chicken at Popeyes are hot, juicy and crunchy; one of best! Their seasoning is perfect and properly prepared. It is more than just salt and pepper! Ask for Bayou Buffalo, Barbeque, Sweet Heat, Mardi Gras Mustard, Buttermilk Ranch, or Blackened Ranch sauce to dip your chicken pieces in. The Rice and Bean, Mac and Cheese are delicious! There is ample parking in the outside parking lot and around the drive through. Even better, outside parking lot and inside dining area are clean. Decently fast drive through. Went here at 2pm on a Wednesday. Service was efficient and staff was friendly. I got the new Popeyes chicken sandwich. It was delicious. I got the plain version. I want to come back to try the spicy! Fries were super greasy. So greasy that they greased through the bag and onto my leather car seat.. ugh. Cleaned up easily but still annoying to deal with. read more

This place has really gone downhill. Walked in tonight @ 9:10 pm. No chicken fingers, no sides. My mashed potatoes No gravy. Kitchen was more or less closed at 9 pm. All we could get was fried chicken. The chicken was old and not fresh. No lid covers for our drinks, 3 employees in the dining room singing to the top of their lungs. Then while eating in dining room, one of the employees eating chicken wings with wife, he belched so loud! Men bathroom broken up. Entire place was filthy. Sorry, last time I'm ever coming to this. I always wished our town would be profiled and considered for a Popeyes franchise or corporate owned location. Perhaps our area could qualify for a KentuckyBell instead. You know the half breed restaurant or the bastard result of an unholy marriage of KFC and Taco Bell. My only real complaint was the biscuit at this location missed. See picture. For the record I have small hands so this biscuit may look larger. The truth it's not! The bottom was browned minimally and the top looked flat and raw. No chance for rise left us with a skinny anemic biscuit that reminded me of the pale, underdeveloped, high school spring breakers who will soon be coming down next month. Drive through service is fast! What?? Yes fast, too fast. They didn't offer any hot sauce, pepper, salt or honey. Grrrr, I forgot what it's like to get Effed in the drive through. They always do. I didn't mind so much as I have great hot sauce at home and just bought some local honey while just north in LaBelle. Food: 3 fast easy menu. Ordered through online app, for pick up through drive thru. Made us go to the side and wait 20 min+, when we got our food, it was wrong. Had to go inside and wait another 20+ min just to get a side and a 12 piece wing that were missing from our original bag of food. Also didn't give any sauce. Super slow, gets orders wrong, not worth it. Happens every time I come here. Always hoping for it to be better, but it gets worse with every visit. read more

My first time eating Popeyes was the beginning of this year *gasp*! Once I had it, I was eating it every other day for a week. You don't come here for the service people!!!!! You come here for the food. I have yet to have a spectacular, red carpet experience at any fast food restaurant. The only people working fast food that are actually happy work at chik-fil-a. The chicken - lawddddd the chicken! It taste amazing. Perfectly seasoned and deep fried to perfection. I have yet to have a fried chicken better than Popeyes. It's all in the seasoning folks , salt and pepper won't do it here. The rice and beans are delicious. The greens beans and biscuit are subpar. Bomb food, crappy service. Ordered the 12 piece combo with an added red beans and rice, got to my family's house to enjoy some food but to my disappointment they forgot my biscuits. Not sure if they'll give me them if I head back but considering the 6-8pm traffic it might not be worth it to find out. Always check your food at this establishment. Is there even a half a star button? Yelp needs an update for that ! Worst Popeyes EVER!!! It is 9:30pm and me and my family just wanted chicken from the Louisiana kitchen. We asked for a 16 piece chicken meal and they were being racist and making fun of my accent. They said since they were closing in 30 min, they could only give us 8 pieces. They then told us to pull up but didn't say where, because we were then blocking the exit. We then drove around and were wondering how much longer it would be for our chicken and they said 7 minutes because it was "dropped fresh" and added along a phrase imitating my native accent. I then asked, if they were dropping it fresh, why couldn't i have gotten a 16 piece and then they shut the windows on me. Absolutely rude. Never coming here again. Picked up a bucket of chicken with sides. Drove back to Naples with great anticipation. Arrived home and immediately noticed the chicken did not look normal and we had all thighs and breasts. The breasts were dark brown in color and dripping with grease. Tried to take a bite and the inside was like leather and coated with a moist orange seasoning. It was friggin horrible. The thighs and 2 legs were just as bad. Horrible stuff and obviously they were just trying to clean up all the left overs as this was no where close to a cut up chicken. Went to Popeyes today for lunch. We had two big boxes mine with two drumsticks...husband had breast and leg. We had mashed potatoes, red beans and rice, green beans and coleslaw for our sides. My son had chicken tender and fries. All of our food was excellent. All was hot and tasted fresh...we had excellent service from both girls behind the counter. Only complaint was that the women's bathroom was pretty messy. read more

The Popeyes in immokalee got my whole order wrong. My husband did a drive through. He ordered chicken strips, cole slaw, red beans and rice a biscuit and unsweetened tea. It was raining and he didn't check the bag. Thinking they did the order right. So when he got home what they gave him was. Chicken leg, thigh, breast, dirty rice, biscuit and sweet tea. I want my money back. But I live a hour away from immokalee. So I take the lost. Beware of this place I'm sure they do it all the time. Get orders wrong on purpose. So never again Popeyes never again. I'd rate a 1/4 star just for throwing in the biscuit... Goodbye. read more
