Tonight on my way to work everywhere else had long lines or has a worse rating than Popeyes. Anyway I figured it's been a while so I'll try them again. Ordered a 5 pc tender and all seemed good until I got to the window. Paid, got my food, and had to wait another 5 plus minutes for them to change out the soda that was out. So finally left and got to work and started eating my food. Was halfway through the first chicken tender and looked down and found a live ant sharing my dinner. Unacceptable! read more

Oh and the phone rings a busy signal like it's off the hook. You can't ever get through to let them know the order was messed up. And again, made me give a star rating. I wanted to desperately give this Popeyes a better review but these biscuits ruined all chances of that. I ordered a 16 PC. Family meal. I asked for all freshly fried chicken and the cashier was so nice. She told me it would be approximately 15 minutes wait time which I was happy to do to get fresh cooked chicken. I also ordered 2 large lemonade. I originally wanted to try to advertised frozen strawberry lemonade but machine was not operable. I asked did they have a strawberry lemonade on ice and I was told that they were out of strawberry syrup. Okay, no problem. I ordered plain lemonade and it was not sweet. I did not complain. I took my seat and waited 27 minutes for the chicken. I did not complain because I knew it would be great. I headed home to Hockley, which was essentially less than 10 minutes away. She told me the intercom worked she's busy to go back around. I went inside & nobody was inside. So how are u possibly that busy?!?! Been here twice now. First time was a few months back. On that occasion it was obvious that they were dumping old dried up chicken in orders. It was awful. Was in the area and starving so decided to give it a again today. Drive through line looked empty. Drove right up to the order board/speaker and sat. I got no response for 4-5 minutes. I pulled forward to leave and noticed a vehicle sitting at the drive through pick up window. The parking lot was nearly empty so it couldn't have been busy with walk in traffic either. As I drove off I noticed another vehicle pull up to the order area. I watched as it sat there for several minutes as well. I left after 4-5 minutes as it appeared they we're getting the same response I had gotten. None! Don't waste your time going here. The mad disrespect I was given to a girl who looked around my age, definitely mid 20s like she was twirling the bag like I was going to give her cooties of what was supposed to be 5 blacken strips with mashed potatoes and Buffalo sauce, she gave me only TWO BLACKEN STRIPS!!
